In the late 1940's, the Rhineharts built cabins on Lake Everett in Northern Wisconsin, 40 miles south of Lake Superior. While times have changed, cabins have been updated, people come here for many of the same reasons they came here in the 1950's and 1960's...to connect with nature and to connect with each other in a beautiful setting. There are 13 cabins - 10 of the cabins are lakeside. All cabins have a kitchen, living room, bedrooms and a screened porch. A boat comes with the cabin rental. There are campfire pits throughout the grounds - we provide the firewood. Build a campfire, listen to the loons and gaze at the stars while the water makes a "lap, lap, lap" sound along the shore. The children of yesteryear continue to introduce their children and grandchildren to Delta Lodge. We welcome you to join us!

My husband and I live in Minneapolis and a couple weeks ago during the riots I decided we should get out of town, I did a quick search for a pet friendly cabin and found Delta Lode, as I was packing up the house I called and prayed they had a cabin open..any cabin really, they did and our road trip began. We arrived late at night, it was DARK, which made it a little difficult but once we found the cabin and got settled in I couldn't have been happier. Waking up in the morning with the beautiful view of the lake was a refreshing surprise. I think as long as you have realistic expectations, you will be pleasantly surprised. I'm somewhat of a city / luxury brat but I grew up camping with my uncles and I thought this place was awesome. The bed was comfy, having laundry was a bonus (cabin 11) and the views were fantastic..anyway, we are booking another weekend here coming up and bringing our kids so apparently it was a good stay ... the fact that it's pet friendly by the way....HUGE bonus.

We have stayed at Delta Lodge during the winter for the last 4 years. We love the tranquility of the area with an abundance of cross country ski trails. During the winter they have 3 cabins available to rent. I say cabin but in reality we stayed in a 4 bedroom house, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen plus cookware, laundry and sauna. The cabin is heated by a gas wood stove that keeps the cabin toasty warm. You do have to bring all the towels needed as those are the only items not provided. There is not a TV but it is nice to unplug sometimes. Marilyn who manages the place was great to deal with. She is super helpful with local restaurants and activities. Don't forget to make a trip to Delta Diner about a half mile away and The Twin Gables cafe in Brule. There is a grocery store in Iron river about 20 minutes away. Dogs are welcome but there is a small additional charge. So in the winter months Sun to Thurs the price is 95 dollars a night. We added a Sat night and was charged 107 dollars. There are plenty of things to do if you don't ski. You can go hiking or snowshoeing but it seems you could just hike in boots as the trails seemed to be packed down pretty good. Try it you will love it!

Delta Lodge is the perfect place for a winter vacation. The setting is gorgeous, and the winterized cabins are spacious and comfortable. You are close to a multitude of trails for skiing and snowshoeing, and owners Marilyn and Andy are experienced outdoorspeople with a wealth of knowledge and recommendations to share. When you need to thaw out, you can’t do better than sauna followed by watching the sun set over the frozen lake while toasting in front of the (gas) fireplace stove. I came here in the summers as a child and am looking forward to bringing my own kids next summer, but for a grown up getaway, Delta in the winter cannot be beat.

We stay here every year in one of the winterized cabins for a relaxing extended weekend. Basic, clean cabins with cozy gas fireplaces. Nice view of the lake. Peaceful setting. Dog friendly which can be hard to find. The fun Delta Diner is nearby. Always nice to catch up with the owners!

Very cozy and family/dog friendly place. The lake is amazing and the vibe is very relaxed. There’s no WiFi....FYI. My teens survived but it was touch and go. Highly recommended for families and those with dogs. Free boats and wood for evening bonefires added a lot to the experience.

Thank you for your wonderful review. We do have WIFI in a central location, but it is not specifically linked to any of the cabin. Marilyn
