We had the most lovely, relaxing weekend at the Honeybee Inn. The home is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and Kristen's hospitality was superb. The Horicon Marsh area is beautiful - we hiked and canoed and saw so many birds! Highly recommend.

Thank you! Birds, Birds, Birds, we have them. Canoeing is a great way to see the wildlife here. You can get closer look at the different species on the water. Glad you two were here and I hope to see you again in the future. Cheers, Kristen🐝

We loved our stay at the Honeybee and will probably be back. The owner, Kristin, who is a one-woman powerhouse, was super communicative and accommodating right from the start. Her breakfasts were DELICIOUS and she went above and beyond to accommodate dietary preferences. Our room was immaculately clean, the bed was soooo comfy and the bathroom was really nice. We loved the whirlpool bathtub in the room, which worked perfectly. We weren't sure if the home would have A/C since it's over a century old but Kristin had it installed when she took over the business and our room was so comfortable despite 90-degree temps outside. The house had lots of little hospitable details like a coffee/tea maker upstairs near the rooms for an early or late cup. She also had a huge Stash tea collection with tons of decaf options. A small library of books, plus some puzzles and games, along with a large DVD collection + Roku offered lots of entertainment on inside days. Something we also appreciated was that Kristin was so welcoming and kind, but she also gave us lots of space to hang out in the communal areas without us feeling like we were intruding, or chatting us up. When we asked her questions about the house she was more than willing to engage, but otherwise was happy to let us do our thing. It was a really nice balance. The town of Horicon itself doesn't have a huge amount of dinner options, and a lot of places aren't open on Sun-Tues so definitely take a look at the options in the area. Kristin had some recommendations that we followed and were happy with. There is a small refrigerator and microwave upstairs if you happen to have leftovers, FYI. I believe Kristin also rents out her e-bike if you want to explore the nearby bike paths and wildlife refuge. Highly recommend the Honeybee, we'll be back!

Kristen, the hostess, was a fabulous person to get to know and provided us an outstanding breakfast before our departure. Her work improving this place over the last three years of her ownership is beautiful beyond the norm for a bed and breakfast establishment. We look forward to returning sometime in the future!

I loved the rich history of not only the area, but of this house as well! The food was delicious, and the hostess couldn't be more friendly and accommodating! Every little detail of our stay was catered to comfort and made for a wonderful relaxing time. This was my first time to a B&B, and will happily recommend this charming place to friends and family!

The Honeybee and Kristen just raised the benchmark for B&B experiences for my wife and I. We just completed a stay and this beautiful house was a hidden gem. Over the years we have been to Door County, Dells area, La Cross, and Norther Wisconsin to many B&B's and none of them can beat the overall value, hospitality, food, room amenities, and owner interaction. We would highly recommend a stay her!

We loved the super soft bed sheets and comfy king size bed. The jetted tub was so relaxing and the super soft towels were so nice as well. The whole house is beautifully decorated and clean. We went to a Brewery in Beaver Dam, and a Winery near by. Very relaxing and lovely getaway for my husband and I! Would definitely go back!
