We heard absolutely nothing from other rooms--nice thick walls. The room was immaculately clean and also nice and big. They let us stay an hour past checkout, which was nice. Overall a much better experience than you'd expect from a highway budget-friend hotel.
Our room was very clean. And nice view. The staff was Excellent! Very professional and welcoming. We thought as a whole a fine facility. Liked the Covid 19 precautions installed in this facility We will be booking with the Hilton company again
Front desk staff (Pepper) was not very pleasant at check in to me, especially compared to the staff welcoming another rewards guest next to me; not sure if she was having a bad night or if she had an attitude because I was a casually dressed, exhausted Mom-type. Her attitude changed when my husband, who was more nicely dressed, came into the lobby. They had no luggage carts available in the evening; the cart we got in the morning had no hooks on it and was hard to drive. The room itself was big, excessively so - while we usually like a little extra space, the window HVAC unit couldn't keep up and we had to manually adjust it all night. We had booked the room several days in advance for five people and asked for enough towels and bedding in the notes, but when we arrived, there were only enough for four. There was also only some kind of almond soap, which doesn't work for those with nut allergies and they had nothing else, so we had to use our shampoo to wash our hands. When we called down and they followed up by text, they couldn't bring anything to the room; my husband went down to pick it up. While not the end of the world, we were really tired from an event and didn't need to deal with problems like this while trying to get the kids to bed. Also, there were no cups in the room other than the insulated coffee cups and there weren't enough; wish they would have had recyclable plastic or glass cups. The beds themselves were very hard but the pillows were extremely soft and flattened immediately; the sofabed was also very uncomfortable for my six year-old, to the point where he wanted to make sure I mentioned in the review. As a result, no one slept well except for my husband, who could sleep on a rock if he had to. They went to the pool in the morning, but only used the hot tub because there were dead bugs in the pool; they would have gone the night before, but it closed really early at 9 PM. The breakfast was the usual cheap preservative and dye-filled junk most hotels have; there weren't any hard boiled eggs, the only fruit was bananas and even the yogurt was the super sugary variety. The tables in the breakfast area weren't being kept clean either. I usually give most discount hotels a pass on one or more of these problems, but I was told this is supposed to be a higher end brand and I expected at least a good night's sleep and an assortment of fruit for breakfast. What's really upsetting is we paid a premium price; the only reason we thought to try this brand is that it was five miles closer to our event then other hotels, but next time we'll definitely take a slightly longer drive and pay a lot less for a higher quality stay at a mid-level brand.…
This was one of the cleanest and nicest Hampton Inns I have stayed at. The staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast area was well stocked and clean. The room was nicely decorated for a Hampton Inn and was extremely clean. It was a very pleasant stay.
This was a great stay, very comfortable bed, clean rooms and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were here for a Wedding at the Polish Center which made this a perfect location. Breakfast was hot and yummy; the only drawback was the amount of seating for breakfast
We stayed in the 2-queen studio (with sofabed), and the room was huge. Very clean. Parking was good. The breakfast in the morning was free and very good (not great, but better than average). The only complaint was that we had a noisy group above us on the 5th floor, and we could hear everything on our ceiling every time they walked across the floor. I went up to the room and saw that they had a "Let's Party" sign hung on their door, telling me they were having a party of some kind. At 11pm I finally called the front desk to ask them to enforce the quiet time rules, which they said they would, but the noise continued. I'm really not sure if the reason we could hear all the noise was because that's just the way it is, or if the group above had too many people for that room and were having a party. I do wish the front desk had done a bit more to enforce the quiet time rules. Location is close to the botanical gardens.…
It was a little older in style. It was extremely clean! The coffee was always fresh and the staff couldn't have been anymore friendly and helpful!!! It was our first time in Milwaukee for a wedding and a lot of the wedding guest stayed there and the all said the same thing!! The couple said how wonderful the staff was to work with setting everything up!!
We checked in on a Friday and stayed 5 days. We were always warmly greeted coming and going, We chose the day we wanted maid service and it was done well.. Anytime we called the front desk they took care of us immediately. We had the Queen suite and it is spacious and comfortable. We love staying here when we visit Milwaukee. We will be back soon. Did I mention it is very clean too. Thanks!
This property is managed by an exemplar leader, Jeff C. He went above and beyond every single day to support our staff members who were staying there for our business visit to Alverno College. He transported us every morning to the College and when needed, he or one of the other staff picked us up. He even transported us to and from the mall on the first day of our arrival. We could tell that Jeff is a leader more than a manager, because every single person on his staff had a smile and one could tell they loved their job. We are so sorry that this review is delayed, as we want the travelers to know what an amazing hotel this one is. I hope that Hilton looks at these reviews, because we tried to add a review to Hilton site, but couldn't find where to put one. The delay in posting is because we are busy setting up the second location for Alverno College here in AZ and just didn't get to it until now. We had a family get together here and the hotel and staff provided second to none hospitality. We will definitely return. Great service, friendly staff, reasonable price, nice ambiance and clean rooms.
