We stayed here 1 night for a 3 day weekend trip. Paid an extra $20 for a lake view room; not worth it, the view wasn't that great. Room wasn't spectacular, but was clean. TV was a joke for the size, I'm not sure it was even 32", and for a room with 2 queen beds that's pretty small. Staff... More

About 45 members of my family, from all over the country convened here for a family reunion last week. This was a perfect place for us with a variety of accommodations from lodge rooms and suites to vacation homes and cabins. Located right on the bay, it is beautiful and serene. They were able to comfortably serve our whole family... More

Let me start off by saying that whether you are staying at the resort or not, you MUST stop at the bakery and treat yourself to their delicious offerings there. If you are a fan of a sticky pecan roll, look no further -- you will be in Nirvana. The bakery employees were sweethearts and went out of their way... More

I watched the fish boil and listened to the storyteller. It was very entertaining. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. I would stay here again.

The hotel might be a little outdated but that is what is neat about it. There are a lot of old items including furniture and are neat to see. They have excellent service and are always friendly. A nice size pool and hot tub. They are always clean. A game area in the basement with Ping pong, pool and video... More

As a professional travel company we visit hundreds of hotels a year mostly major chains. Those don't exist in Door County and we chose Rowley's as our home for three nights. Jewel, the owner, is hands on in the business day and night almost with the most pleasant smile always as does her staff. The resort is very clean and... More

Hotel room was clean with dated decor. "Resort's" common areas, pool, and restaurants were very dirty. Location of resort is very remote, far from other Door County activities, restaurants, shopping, etc. Some may find the location appealing but unless guests wish to drive many miles on country roads to other restaurants, guests are forced to eat in the rowley's restaurant... A few weeks ago I stayed at Rowleys bay resort. I went there to fish. I heard the fishing was good as well as the view. The problem I had was when I got here the battery on my trolling motor was dead. I flagged down one of the rowleys bay trucks. I talked to a grey haired guy there.... More

OK, some people will not agree that I gave this a 5 star rating, but I have stayed at 5 star properties that are far less enjoyable than Rowley's Bay Resort. The critics say this place is outdated, depends on what you are looking for. My friend and I stayed in 208. The room was rustic, not outdated, very comfortable... More

My husband and I were with a group tour and stayed at this resort for 5 days. We paid extra for a balcony room and were looking forward to sitting on the balcony, having coffee, and looking out at the bay. “View to a Thrill” is the catchphrase in the resort’s publications. When we arrived, our room wasn’t quite ready... More
