We enjoyed the camper rental itself, it's location and how clean it was. The whole campground and it's facilities are kept clean and orderly. Rules are enforced for quiet and comfort. Great staff! Friendly, helpful and supportive. Many tourist sites, shopping, restaurants and stores with necessities nearby. We already made a reservation for next year!

This is the best maintained campground we ever stayed in. They take great care to keep it clean and beautiful. Great about supplying hand sanitizer and wearing masks. The only issue is it is a bit far from other activites. However, nothing is more than an hour away.

We have enjoyed this campground every year since 2012, and sometimes come twice a year. The campground has beautiful grounds with gorgeous plantings and a nice playground for the kids. Every site is well maintained and prepared for the next visitor with consistent attention to detail: raked gravel walkways, clean fire pits, no stray garbage lying around. The yurts are always clean, with no evidence of insects, cobwebs, dust, or overused furniture. In fact, nothing in the campground is broken down or tattered looking. As so many have stated, the bathrooms are clean and spacious, and well stocked. There are no corners cut. The owners of this campground take great pride in offering a great camping experience. Friendly staff and happy campers make this a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay.

When our travel plans on our August 2020 RV trip changed suddenly and we found ourselves with 2 days with no plans, we stumbled on Door County and Wagon Trail Campground. Lucky for us! Called and got reservations for 2 days. Nicole, who made the res, told us that we would have to move to another site on the 2nd day and she was genuinely apologetic but we knew we were coming on short notice and that was just fine! Our first site, #214, a pull thru, was on the entrance road but TOTALLY hidden from view and we felt very secluded. We were traveling with our dog and as we walked around, I couldn’t believe how many other people were tucked away in very cool, secluded sites! Was hard to believe the park is so large, you just DON’T see people :). On check in, the ladies were so kind recommending places for us to see! We had our motorcycles with us and they gave us suggested routes to make the most of our visit. It was time to catch up on laundry and the facility was tight, but super clean!!! The 2nd nite we were in site #408. It was a back in, but even with the motorcycle trailer, we fit just fine. Again, surrounded by trees and very peaceful and quiet. It was the first time we had been bothered by “skeeters” so when i was at the park store, I asked what they had and was directed to a bug spray with lemongrass extract. It was NOT expensive and worked like a dream! The entire stay at Wagon Trail was very enjoyable, Door County is amazing, I broke the bank buying “everything cherries” and truly hope our travels take us back there again! We will FOR SURE stay at Wagon Trail Campground!!
