We stayed in one of the trailers in the campground with an infant and parents. We stayed early in May, so there were very few campers around. The trailer was kept clean had in very good condition. Recommended for everyone, specially if you are travelling with kids or older parents. The staff was so helpful, they were making sure we... More

This place is really nice. Clean, campsites are big and relatively private, and the people that operate the campground are really nice. We come back year after year!!!! That is probably the best endorsement I can give!!!

Beautiful large campsites. Very helpful staff at the front desk. The bathrooms are some of the nicest we have seen at a campground. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Some cute little critters in the woods by our site, they would chatter at us but never came too close! Excellent place to stay!

Only got to stay one night due to busy period, wished could have made full stay here. Lots of privacy for each site, separated by lots of pines and other trees. Extremely friendly staff and I loved the lodge. I thought things were priced very well as a bonus. We have 4 kids and this is the kind of place... More

Just arrived back home from our week long vacation in Door County. My husband and I stayed at the wagon trail campground in our pop up camper with our 100lb Lab for a while week. I was nervous about this adventure of going bathroom less for awhile week but we were happy to find out we were only a few... More

My husband and I were looking for a campground in Door County and a friend recommended Wagon Trail. I'm glad we looked no further. All I can say is "ditto" to all the comments below. Sites were clean, level, crushed gravel (not dirt), and raked clean by the management. And I like it when the sites are not on top... More

Nice secluded camp sites, heavily wooded, clean bathrooms & showers, great little store and extremely nice staff. What a private camp ground should be! Tucked in a little corner of Door County, a very short walk from Lake Michigan. We just keep coming back several times a year because it's so nice! You can fish off the dock at the... More

Wagon Trail exceeds expectations year after year ! Dawn & I were on our semi-annual trip up to Door County and continue to be amazed at the upgrades & improvements the Wagon Trail management & staff continue to make. All grounds & facilities are clean and well-maintained. Their strict wood policy helps preserve all of God's nature just where He... More

We decided on the Tuesday morning after Memorial Day to go up to Door County for the night. My husband picked this campground and we were both very happy with his choice! We knew it was going to rain overnight/in the morning and didn't want to be packing up a tent in that weather, so we went with a yurt.... More

We've done a lot of camping and Wagon Trail is the best campground we've ever stayed in. The sites are large and allow a sense of privacy. Staff was so cheerful and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, showers had liquid soap dispensers, a wood ledge, plenty of hooks, good pressure, a heavy shower curtain and plenty of room outside the... More
