Peaceful campground with lots of trees, clean bath house, indoor pool, convenient small store, sand for kids to play with near cabin door, playgrounds, small mini golf. Really enjoyed it and hope to go back. Stayed in 2014

My husband & I started our trip to Door County to join another couple at this campground. We usually don't venture 5 miles from home but wanted to give it a shot. We had originally planned staying two nights and then go to Sister Bay or Fish Creek but changed our minds. The service is excellent, playgrounds galore, even though... More

Great location in Door County. We stayed in a small cabin that was recently redone. Bathrooms very clean at the campground (better than the state park by far) lots of free stuff for the kids and very economical. Also pet friendly.

I stay here often for work as a fishing guide. It's perfect for me and great for my family to come and visit. My customers often stay here as well. If camping is the vacation you are looking for its quiet, conveniently located, awsome shower and bathroom facilities. Staff is nice and helpful. Tons of activities from game room, pool, and... More

Excellent campground overall. Some spaces too close to adjacent. Very clean and well maintained. No TV service. Wi-Fi in Club Building only. Lotsa trees. Much to do within campground. Very well located. Would certainly stay again.

Our family of five camped here in a tent for 5 nights in July. The campground mostly caters to seasonal campers, but we still felt very welcome. We had a nice shady, semi-secluded site with a sand tent pad, fire pit (no grate, however), and water and electricity. The pit toilets are very clean. The shower and bathroom facilities were... Clean, friendly, accommodating! This is our second trip to Frontier Wilderness and what a great stay. A great little general store and indoor pool. Although we arrived late, a map with our site labeled was attached to the office door with a note to check in in the morning. Always a smile and helpful information. Showers and all facilities were... More

This is a very nicely maintained and well operated family and pet friendly campground. Nice general store and indoor pool on site, as well as mini golf, horseshoes, basketball hoops, activity center and playgrounds to keep the kids busy. Very courteous and helpful staff. The shower/flush toilet building is clean and useable. Tip: Bring some quarters with you because you... More

We stayed here over a weekend in site 222 which was nicely wooded. The campers are mainly families and it was nice and quiet. Lots of large RVs so if you're looking for a real natural place it wouldn't fit the bill. However the showers and changing area were wonderfully clean and we had fun playing mini golf and horseshoes.

Loved loved LOVED this dog-friendly campground! The best we've stayed in. Sites are mostly private surrounded by trees. We were close to a nice pit toilet (which are words that usually don't go together), but also had the option of walking a little further to a beautiful shower/bathroom facility (also words I don't usually stick together when camping!) Some people... More
