Detailed Reviews
We had the best two week stay at HTR Door County Resort last August. Joel and his team were outstanding. The RV park is well maintained, our RV site was excellent, plus the employees were all nice, friendly and very helpful. HTR Door County Resort is conveniently located to all the things we wanted to do while we were in Door County. This RV park has had vast improvements since our prior stay in 2022, and we had a great time during that stay. We look forward to our next visit in July and know we will have another grand time camping with our family.

Nice campground with lots of site choices - from heavily wooded, to large, concrete pull thrus. The owners are friendly and helpful, and it’s apparent they take pride in their campground. (The facilities are kept clean, trash is picked up every day, and they’ll even help you back into your site if you need it.) There is a bit of road noise, but it’s very quiet at night. We would definitely be back.

Check in was at 2:00PM, we arrived at 1:45PM and we were charged a 30USD early check in fee. When we arrive at our site it was 2:09PM. Pretty petty in my book. The staff said we could leave and come back, but the road in front of the campground was under construction so we relented. They would not let us sit and wait until 2:00pm even though we were the only camper in line. You do not find out what your site is until you arrive. You have no choice. I have never experienced this at any other campground.
The campground is nice, but our initial experience will not bring us back here.

This campsite has has been a paradise for permanent campers for many many years. And all the permanent campers are like little families and look forward to their time together.
Because of the new owners from out of state we received notice last March that they were raising our permanent Sites from 3000 to 5500 and if we didn’t like it we had to be off site by the end of the month. Then we find out that there will be no permanent sites anymore at all! Just kicked us all out because they were turning it into a Glamping campsite.
It has basically turned from a paradise into hell. The new owners could care less about the campers, only for the almighty dollar.
There are many more nice family friendly campsites in the area and I would suggest that you are avoid this one for your own good….

I would NOT recommend this campground! We’ve camped for over 20 years, and this is the first time we’ve been charged for leaving 20 minutes late! $31.50 for 20 minutes for a Monday departure and an empty campground. Ridiculous! Staff is rude.

This was our first time staying at Egg Harbour campground. The grounds are nice, sites are fairly wooded. The office isn’t open a lot and if you need anything you have no way to get it. The mens and woman’s restrooms are not kept up at all. The men’s was out of toilet paper, paper towel dispenser wasn’t working. The woman’s was out as well and guests had to flush paper towel as that’s all there was. The trash cans were overflowing in there as well. My wife went into the office to notify the employees about the issues and there was no urgency to correct anything. They said ok and they would get to it and seemed almost irritated that she mentioned it to them. There are other campgrounds in door county so I would not recommend this place and to spend your money elsewhere.

Very disappointed. We were supposed to be camping today. Unfortunately, my husband has Covid. Their cancellation policy sucks! Read policy before booking! How are you supposed to know if you get sick within 30 days? No one ever answers the phone there. You can’t even leave a message since their voicemail is all full. I don’t think the new management company is doing a good job. Their prices are based on a dynamic booking. Prices vary from $150-$300 for the same exact site based on the day of booking.

So very clean! Location is perfect, ride your bike to Egg. Harbor or Fish Creek. Upon hooking up we noticed we had no electricity so we called after hours and got IMMEDIATE assistance from the owner/manager. He was at our site in 5 minutes. He looked over everything and it was our fuse box was shut off🥴. I was apologizing but all he said was,” no it’s fine, no problem “. He went over a few things making sure we were set up. We noticed him in his cart working all day and evening and had time to talk to us and making sure everything is good. Pool was warm too! Definitely will make this an annual trip! Thank you for all you did/do.

Have been coming here for many, many years and so disappointed that it sold to someone else. Prices have skyrocketed. Not friendly or helpful. The man there acted as if he could care less whether we came there or not. They raised the prices so much that most of the seasonals have left, we heard. This is not a good option anymore. There are so many other great campgrounds in Door County. Don't waste your money on this one.

They didn't charge us anything extra even thought it says there is a charge. Stayed June 25-30.
My previous answer was for St Germaine by mistake. Egg harbour campground is a short drive e yo many beaches. Our face was Frank Murphy beach. Not as crowded as some and very nice.
We just walked our dog on the camp roads every night. Very pet friendly, most campers had dogs with them.
The part of the question I can answer is this; go to the web, Google Egg Harbor Campground and the number will be there. They do accommodate large RV's. Owners and employees are very nice folks and will do all they can to accommodate their guests, IMO.
