The Landmark resort was lovely. It was in a quiet, off the beaten path location yet close to everything we wanted to do. It was nice having an actual living area, kitchen (even though we didn't use anything except the fridge) & separate bedroom. The bathroom is a little small but it was fine. Everything was very clean & neat. The view is fabulous and we could watch the sunset from our window.

Our family had a lovely experience at the Landmark Resort. The room setup was spacious, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. We enjoyed making use of the restaurant, hiking trail, pool, and fitness center during our stay. The resort is a quick drive to the beach and downtown Egg Harbor and is secluded in the woods with beautiful views. We definitely plan on returning and highly recommend this resort.

We booked through AirBnB and the process was very good; checkin through the resort was excellent. The rooms are very good with sufficient storage and equipped kitchenettes, including a small stove and full fridge. A couple coffee packs were provided along with cleaning supplies. The resport layout and amenities are very nice though we did not have time to use them since we were out and about. Main Street market an excellent store is closeby and I think it is nice to start the day without traffic so even though this was not right in Fish Creek, the wooded surround is much more relaxing One major consideration for the room selection- Confirm the room location if you cannot handle luggage with stairs. There was a half flight of stairs, this was not expected. We could handle it but it was sort of a pain too. It would not be good for everyone though The staff was very good too and seemed to enjoy working with people - an added plus Covid protocols are in place which we appreciated Definitely recommend

We’ve stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. If you can, get a room with a water view. It’s worth it. The housekeeping staff went out of their way to mail us an important item we inadvertently left in our room which was very much appreciated.

I held my WEDDING at the Landmark on Saturday 9/4/21. This long post will explain the unbelievable, unprofessional incompetence that we experienced. My only point of contact was Jen, who’s position was labeled as the Catering Coordinator, but who also coordinated the entire wedding. She was the person I was directed to for all inquiries regarding the ceremony and reception. She is the only person I received a contract through for billing and wedding layout for timeline and expectations. She did the tour of the property and walk-through a couple weeks prior to the wedding as well. She stated the room would be open and ready for us to complete set up on Friday in the morning, that the attached balcony was included, and clean up could be done the next morning. We arrived on Friday at 2PM and the room was occupied with someone saying they had paid and booked the room for several hours. We waited for their time to be up, yet still the room was not ready several more hours later. We contacted the front desk, who had no idea what we were talking about. The maintenance employee, Chris, did his best to assist us, genuinely apologized and contacted his manager to get approval for him to open the locked door and bring the tables, chairs, and table clothes/covers that were supposed to have been set so that we could do the work ourselves. His manager Dan flat out refused to even speak to us and only told Chris he would not allow it. At this point, he had nothing to lose by helping us that tiny bit, and everything to gain. There was no reason to deny this help after they had breached contract. A number was provided to “General Manager Patty”, a person I had not heard of through this entire process and had had no previous contact with. My mom left her a voicemail. Also, all of this occurred during the first couple hours of the time we had paid to rent their bonfire, so we missed out on this time as well. After refusing to assist us that night, we were assured that the room would be open first thing in the morning and they would set up. I woke early on my wedding day to rush to set up, and at 8AM the door was still locked with no employees in sight. We had to again contact them to initiate set up. They had to be reminded that several chairs were still missing covers and everything was still very wrinkled and needed to be steamed. My in-laws then took the time to rush setting up the room with our decorations. In the middle of this, Jen took a long, over an hour, lunch break while the room was still not ready. The ceremony space also had still not been set up. It wasn’t until after 2 PM that this was finally set up, so that we could go decorate that area. My ceremony was supposed to start at 3:30 PM. As such, my ceremony started and finished late. We arrived to the room, where we learned that they had not set up the PA system as agreed, so our guests had no music while waiting with appetizers and drinks. We also had to request water for the tables, as they did not provide it. During our dinner, the attached balcony Jen stated was included in our space to use and decorate did not have any Reserved signs or indications to other guests that the space was occupied. A large group of people set up an entire BBQ, and very graciously left when my mother had to notify them. When we returned to the room the next day to hold up our agreement to clean up in the morning, the inside door was locked. We were able to gain entry as they had not bothered to lock the outside door. None of the garbage or serving dishes had been removed, so the room smelled of rotting food, and all of the bartender’s bottles of alcohol were still in the unsecured room. When we left on Monday, the room was still not cleaned! This morning , GM Patty returned my mom’s call. She did not apologize, lied and told her that my husband and I said we were “thrilled” with how everything went, and that she was just the mother complaining. She said that the contract we received from Jen “didn’t count” and they have their own contract. Which I never received as Jen was the only person I worked with. I did not directly contact Patty at the time because it was my WEDDING, I had to spend my time setting up last minute, and Patty was unreachable at the time anyways. She called my mom condescending and cut her off when my mom attempted to compliment Chris. All while saying they have “35 years of great customer service.” My entire family stayed at this resort and was treated this way. We live and work in Door Co year-round and understand the struggles our community has faced since COVID. All we wanted was an acknowledgement that things did not go as planned and an apology. I will update as I am about to call Patty myself.
