Well, we went to Alpine Valley from Colombia, south america with my wife and two kids (10 and 12). It Couldn't be better. Short lines for skiing, easy ski rentals, what an unforgettable experience!. Room was with ski in/out, and that was the best. We tried the pool and jacuzzi after a long ski day and it was really good.... More

Pee and Flee: That is all my wife and I wanted to do the morning after we were given this room. First the good. The front desk personnel were delightful. I was given a sheet to fill out for my car registration and this nice young behind the desk could tell my squinting that I had forgot my reading glasses... More

For East Troy being being a hole in the wall, one would imagine that a place like this would be welcoming to 18,000 people - negative ghost rider. There was a police presence which rivaled Mardi Gras and very little tailgating fun to be had. Everyone needs to chill out. Not going back

Close to Chicago and its suburbs. Hotel accommodations are not the best but the serve the purpose. The hotel has not changed much since the late 80's but it's clean. Bar and restaurant are good and fun to hang out in. Close to downtown Lake Geneva for great shopping. It's the best terrain park with decent runs closest to the... More

We had a great time at Alpine Valley. Very nice Wisconsin Ski Hill. Lots of options for all to ski and plenty lifts to handle crowds. Beautiful area and nice building and grounds. A little dated, however very charming and clean. A great stay and play resort. All staff was very friendly and food was great. We will be back!

we stayed for 2 days for my son's wedding. Got a great deal on golf/dinner/room package. The golf courses are in great shape and the food was better than I expected. The hotel could use a remodel. rooms were dated. The staff was excellent. Great attitudes and they did everything they could to make our weekend fun. I would definately... More

Attended a concert and paid a. Huge premium for the room just for the location. Room is 1974, mostly all original. The property was a resort 20 years ago. Staff and service was good, they did all they could to make the stay good for us. Had dinner at the "resort" bar / restaurant. Food was pretty good for dinner,... More

There's only one reason to stay at Alpine Valley Resort, which is of course ski in / ski out access to the ski lifts. It's a basic hotel with friendly service and adequate rooms. What is nice is having a convenient home-base right on the hill. If you're skiing with a group and some want to ski more than others... More

Alpine Valley is what it is. It's not Vail or Banff or even Devil's Head (Wisconsin)...it's a local ski hill for Milwaukee/Chicago. This is where we go to learn, practice and have a good time. You can ride the same black run (Big Thunder) over and over, tweaking your turns and having a blast. The detachable quad gets you back... More

I have gone skiing to several different places throughout the midwest, and have never had an experience like this. The slopes were over crowded, hotel room was lacking in many ways, inside the resort was over crowded and extremely loud. Parking was a nightmarish joke!!! For $140/night, it's not worth it at all. You could be parking your car 1/2mile... More
