My first visit to the Inn was just what I was hoping for - a quiet, restful night away. The location on Carpenter Lake is lovely and a great place to swim or make use of the boats they have to rent. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would be happy to have a repeat visit and with... More

The owners are wonderful, welcoming people, making you feel at home right away. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful deck looking over the tranquil lake. There a lots of games in the common room, and we usually have a competitive game of disc shuffle board. The beach is sandy, and the water cool and inviting after a... More

We stayed at the house next to the Inn and thought it was wonderful. The house is updated and comfortable for our 3 family's of 14. Each of the 3 levels has a bathroom and bedrooms. The kids were able to play billboards, darts, and shuffleboard at the Inn. Also, the fishing is tremendous on Carpenter lake.

Lots and lots of geat antiques, many things to do, beautiful setting, friendly atmosphere, great food and good conversation. Also had a relaxing stay sitting on the deck and overlooking the water. Very nice. Bruce & Deb

What an idyllic place for a complete refreshing weekend get away! Dan, your breakfasts were outstanding and we found conversations with you most engaging. The lodge, filled with relics of days gone by as well as game mounts depicting nature, all led to a fascinating walk through every time. Having the waterfront room where we could open wall to wall... My wife and I just spent our 40th anniversary at the Inn at Pinewood in Eagle River Wisconsin. All I can say is that it was magical! Our host Dan made a fire in their great stone fireplace, treated us to piano music and made a breakfast that went far above and beyond. I can't wait to go back next... More

This is a B&B. Nice private lake. Beautiful, built in 1934 and added on in the 70's. It is like a museum inside, so much to look at. We enjoyed spending time with Dan, the manager. Dan has been a chef for over 20 years. Personable, and made us feel welcome.

We returned to the Inn at Pinewood to attend Eagle River’s Cranberry Fest in early October 2014. The 1930’s era log lodge was the perfect complement to the fall colors and bracing evening temperatures. Kevin insured there was a comforting fire in the large hearth, setting the stage for conversation with our hosts and other guests as darkness fell. Ideally... More

Quiet and relaxing, the Inn at Pinewood is a hidden gem in the north woods. We had planned on camping with friends at nearby Franklin Lake in the Nicolet National Forest; however, with all day rain predicted shortly--we chose the inn. We were so happy we did. Our room overlooking Lake Carpenter was comfortable and cozy. It had a sliding... More

Wonderful stay at this well equipped and large wood cabin in the north woods of Wisconsin. Kevin and Geri Lee welcomed us warmly showing us the place and made us feel at home. The decor is great and the view of the lake is perfect with a great sunset to close our day and then a pre-made camp fire ready... More
