For the price we paid we would have anticipated a better bed and shower. The shower head was to low for anyone over 5 foot. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was minimal at best. NO hot items to choice from. NO cold cereals or milk. Again disappointed for the price we paid.
I stayed here as part of a group of about 140 bicyclists. They let us keep our bikes in our rooms and provided clean rags and a hose to clean our bikes after rides. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was minimal, but with a refrigerator and microwave in the room I could keep extra things in the room. Fresh fruit was always available at the front desk, as was coffee and other hot beverages. The staff responded to any issues quickly and were very friendly. The location was great for easy access to roads to ride, restaurants and shops.
This motel needs a complete remodel inside and out. The landscape is poorly maintained while the inside is past it's life. Beds were poor, pillows were junk and the rooms show the age and need of refurbishment.
Woke up to my daughter screaming that there were bugs by my face. Cockroaches! I was able to kill one & brought it to the front desk. When we first got in the room I pulled back the covers for my daughter & had to immediately request new sheets since there were men's arm/leg hairs in the "clean" sheets. Dried pee on the toilet seat. 2 centipedes in the pool.. Room smelled like an ashtray. Waited almost 2 weeks for a response from the manager "Betty Jo"...I was offered a 20% gift card of my total stay at the hotel like I would ever be able to sleep a wink in that grimy stinky place! She also runs the Super 8.
Overpriced for what it was, no elevator. We had to call someone to check us in. . Breakfast was a choice of yogurt, juice, muffin. The next hotel , Comfort Inn in WI Dells had hot pancakes, eggs, sausage plus other pastries, etc.
