Beautiful resort with history. All the amenities for your family or group. My adult children and teenagers had a fantastic time. The staff is amazing!!! They have multiple restaurants to fit any experience of dining. The menu has something for everyone.

Went for business and took the family. Could not have been a better experience. Plenty for kids to do while spouse was in business conference. We enjoyed the restaurants, kids activities, three pools, spa, rental bikes and more. Impressed by the staffing, because there was always a person or two available to help or answer questions at every experience. That’s not been our experience in most hotels or resorts past five years — was refreshing to get that level of service! Very clean facility, everything operational. Hotel room was perfect. No sense of old or run down. , even in areas under renovation. Well kept grounds. Highly recommend for weddings! Everything ran very smoothly. One bump — the person who scheduled spa had detail problems, including scheduling wrong service. But at least he was kind. Five stars.

Thank you for taking the time to share your 5-star review! So thrilled you had a great experience - both business and family time and that you enjoyed our amenities. Thank you for highlighting our hardworking staff - this means so much to everyone at the resort. We are working on renovations and improvements as well as on adding a new restaurant so hopefully you get a chance to visit us again soon for more 5-star lakeside fun. Thanks again!

Beautiful lodge and grounds. There are so many offerings when staying at the resort - fun activities for the kids and adults. We checked in on a Friday, early evening, and there were free appetizers and wine on the property! What a great surprise! Our loft room was large and comfortable with a deck and chairs. It is right on the lake, and the views are lovely. We ate at 1878 On the Lake and had a wonderful dinner, followed by a wonderful walk on the paths along the lake. Great service at the resort desk and the restaurant.

This is a great place to come for weddings. Friends weekend. Kids and family weekend. Or even week. So relaxing So easy and not stuffy. Just a beautifully kept piece of nostalgia ! We came for girls weekend but everyone talked about coming back with daughters for a spa day. Even considering a corporate event because the resort is so easy and has anything you need all on property. The staff couldn’t be better. Even all the restaurants were spot on and had anything we wanted. It’s just such a refreshing change of pace.

As a local resident and community supporter, I called area resorts to plan a day of refresh and down time for our small staff. Our organization is a God serving mentally draining 24 hr a day job. Lake Lawn was the only local resort that was not only happy to support us but over the top in kindness. With mental health being a top priority in todays stressful world I thank Lake Lawn Resort and its management and staff for always supporting the community needs!

My husband and I have stayed here quite a few times. Our first was our Honeymoon in 2015. We have stayed for my birthday, and his a d a church retreat every year after. We love staying at Lake Lawn, but our room this last time was disgusting. The furniture in the suite was worn and very old. There were bodily fluids on the chair in the bedroom. The lamp shade was very soiled, and there were stains on the drapes. We had to put a fork in the drapes to prevent the draft from outside. We paid quite a bit of money for a great birthday stay and in turn when I told the front desk about the lack luster of our stay all I Was told is a sorry and hope you will return again. We have been visiting LLL for 20 years plus, we were very disappointed.

I wish that 0 stars was an option. The Lady and I took a Friday/Saturday trip to LLR last weekend and were so very disappointed. After checking in we went to the room and got ready to go to the pool/hot tub. Upon arriving to the pool area, the hot tub was shut down due to a chemical imbalance, therefore they needed to drain and reheat it, and we were told to check back in an hour. We checked back in on the hour at 8,9 and 10 PM, to no avail. After we were told the hot tub would be down for the night, we went to the Lookout bar. My date and I both ordered burgers medium well/well, and they both came out still mooing they were so red. The waitress then tried to tell us that this is their medium well and would not take them back. We were absolutely baffled at this! Following our no hot tub and undercooked food night, we decided to just stay in for the night and go back to the room. We tried to run the bath with the whirlpool in it, but the silver drain stopper didn’t go far enough in and our bath water just kept draining before we could even get comfortable. After a failed hottub, failed dinner and failed whirlpool bath, we tried out the new game room/arcade. It’s operated 100 percent by machine, (you put $$ into a machine and get a game card, and then you cashout with one of those giant vending machines) well we put $40 into one of the machines that gives you a player card, except it said ERROR and just spit out a $40 refund voucher. We went over to the other player card machine and tried $40 in that one only to receive the same ERROR receipt and it spat out another $40 refund voucher. We take the (2) $40 refund vouches to the front desk, where they tell me they CANT refund my cash!! They said they could give me $80 in arcade money (we only wanted 40) or that I would have to come back the next morning to talk to a manager. After that we decided we would just wait til the morning to talk to the manager and went back to the room. Each room is accessible two ways, one entrance in the hallway and another on the other side of your room that leads out to a shared court yard with each person getting their own personal patio. It was nearing the end of the night and we were back in the room, my GF and I stepped out onto the patio to smoke and sure enough, the room key didn’t work from the patio side to get back in. This forced me to walk through the court yard (that was at least 8 inches high of snow) around the building and back into the Boulder lobby entrance just to go back into my room. On the very 1st night we were there, the hot tub was broken, the whirlpool/bathtub was broken, the food was undercooked and us blamed, the arcade took $80 of my money that the front desk refused to refund, and our door to the patio was broken/didn’t read our room keys. The next day, we decided we wanted to do things that DIDNT involve the resort so we went to Stellar Winery (awesome) Delevan Lanes (super fun) and Johnathans (best steak I’ve had in years). We get back Saturday night and their are no longer 2 orange cones blocking the hot tub entrance so we assume it’s open again! Well, we were wrong. It was freezing, and shut down for the night again… I truly wish I could give this resort negative stars for my stay, and when I presented this to an employee we got 0 accommodations, with a bunch of empty apologies. Spend your money to stay somewhere else at this price, you’ll be happy you did.

We were looking forward to the Ice Castles, ice skating on the lake and sledding when we booked in November! Well none of that happened due to the warm weather, but I’m so glad we didn’t cancel our visit. This was our first time here. We have 3 young children and they all enjoyed every minute! The pool was simple but nice, the arcades were fun for them as well. We had a king suite and it was incredible!!! Huge! So clean and nice. We were spoiled. Will checked us in and checked us out as well. He was really good at his job! Welcoming, friendly, helpful and seemed to enjoy his job. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, but I wanted to give a shout-out to Will because he left such a good first and last impression! I thought everything looked really well maintained and clean. There are always reviews that you read that make you question a booking, but we had no problems with the space feeling clean. The food was great. It was nice to get Starbucks and the breakfast sandwich was legit! It seemed pretty quiet. I’m sure there are times it is a lot crazier, but I don’t think it would ever feel very cramped. We actually talked about maybe checking it out in the summertime. We were that impressed!
