We had a great time, the room was wonderful. The jacuzzi tub and rain shower are very nice . The food at I.d was delicious and our bartender Di was fabulous !! Overall we would rate the experience a resounding 5.
Due to an urgent family member's medical condition, a small group of us gathered in WI for a last minute outdoor wedding ceremony. My family decided to stay at another hotel, which was significantly less expensive than the Delafield. Since I was going by myself, and it was one of only two trips I took in 2020, I decided to treat myself to a much nicer hotel. Unfortunately, I had to watch TV on my iPad because the TV did not work and would not connect to Netflix. Additionally, the spa tub did not function correctly. The main reason I wanted to stay at this hotel was for this luxury experience, including the spa tub. I mentioned it on my second day to the front desk and they asked me to call if I had any other issues. I was only there for two nights and got back late to the hotel the second night, so I didn't feel like I wanted a staff member in my room so late. I mentioned it upon check out as well. After talking to my family, I found out that they had an excellent stay just down the road for a fraction of the price. Their TVs worked and they had a number of free meals, including free cocktail hour offered each night. This was very disappointing to hear. Once I got home, I received the online survey after my stay. I explained the facts - I paid over 2 times the price compared to a neighboring hotel, while the primary amenity, and a basic one, did not work. While the staff was helpful with other basic questions, it was frustrating to pay so much and not have those items not function properly. After completing the online survey about two weeks ago, I have yet to receive a response from the hotel. I understand that things will not always be perfect, but the lack of response to my third time submitting feedback to this hotel is even more frustrating. It is difficult to receive constructive feedback, but if the management truly valued feedback, they would follow up with me. While the photos look nice and the property is trendy and well kept, if you are looking for a hotel where you can have the basics and get your money's worth, do not stay at the Delafield. Save the extra money for something else.…
The experience of the stay is memorable. So clean, beautiful and very accommodating. I was super impressed. Didn't get a chance to use the jetted deep soaker tub, next time. Will look forward to trying the onsite restaurant. We attended a family wedding so all food was included. Have already recommended to some of my friends. Plan on returning for my anniversary.
Excellent stay every time. Thank you for the hospitality! Clean, friendly, and many amenities in the area. Such a fun trip. Favorites from our family: the Delafield Hotel, ID, BE Fitness, and The Lumber Inn for breakfast.
Overall, a very nice place to stay. Very clean and beautifully designed/decorated. There were a couple hiccups when arriving, we were supposed to have a conference room available (but we were told they weren’t available since they were used over the previous weekend and were not ready) and instead we were placed in the restaurant which was loud due to all of the staff cleaning and mopping around us, and power spraying the hoods in the open kitchen. This did not work for our in-person and zoom business meetings. We needed to pick up our belongings and find a place somewhere in the hotel that was quieter.
