Clean, warm and well appointed motel with lovely decor. Quiet and charming rural location too. Cora was a friendly and welcoming hostess, which is always appreciated. We would've loved to have stayed longer!

We found this motel by accident, after driving through Timaru. After driving down the West coast, and through the rural south, Timaru was too much of an industrial city to feel comfortable. We needed some serenity. And we found it here. The units have the feel that they have been redone recently with great taste. Very practical and nice style....

A great welcome by the owner, nice and friendly. Modern, clean, fresh and comfortable with everything you need in a motel. Nicely decorated the only thing I would say, a decent sofa to seat on would make it prefect. In saying that, I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for 2 nights and was really comfortable. Cooking facilities which suit me when I travel, car space and all in a peaceful rural setting. Was going to stay at Timaru for 3 nights but stayed one only and drove the 16 kilometres out to pleasant point. Much better sleep. They also have a guest laundry and clothe...

For the price of an average motel unit, this property was a wonderful surprise. Like a 1 bedroom little house. Lovely decor and bedding. Well set out with plenty of room for 2-3 people. Nice and quiet but very close to shops and a great view to the mountains. Wonderful host. Heat pump was fantastic. Only downer...no sky tv. Highly...

The location is off the main highway, so very quiet. But walking distance to the pub and restaurants etc. We had a compact room, but it had everything we needed. Good shower, good bed and great little kitchenette. Wifi was free and worked very well.

We where here for a short stay just before xmas and I cannot recommend the place to you enough. The reception was ultra friendly and helpful. The room was more than comfortable enough. I don't need to go on as everything was actually great. I would also add that there is a red brick looking pub just down the road...

Stayed here two nights and it was so nice. It was so clean and the owner was a lovely guy and very friendly. We went out for the whole day and had the windows open and heater off and came back to a cozy room with the heater on which was very much appreciated! Bed was lovely and comfy too...

This was our second stay to attend the races at nearby Levels racetrack. We love the place and the owners (and their cat). Very roomy, comfortable king bed and great heat, if you need it (we did). Small motel that is accommodating and peaceful. We'll be back on our next trip.

At Easter time I stayed at Serenity Guest House/Motel with mum and my niece. It was a extremely pleasant stay, located on a quiet street with a rural setting, very friendly and helpful hosts and the motel was homely, modern and immaculately clean. I left feeling happy and refreshed.
