I stayed here for a few nights with a group of friends and we all had a wonderful time. The pods were lovely and clean, which is more important than ever now, and had everything in them that you might need - even your own TV and coffee machine! The bed was fantastic and the en-suite bathroom made all the difference. The owners were extremely welcoming and made us all feel at home as soon as we arrived and the location of the campsite was stunning. There's nothing better than waking up to a field of fluffy sheep grazing in an apple orchard to start your day! We were only a short country lane walk from the local village and pubs and a short drive from Glastonbury, with the immediate area being perfect for picturesque walks and bike rides. I cannot recommend staying here enough!…
We arrived at campsite and was greeted with friendly faces , flowers and a complimentary bottle of cider from the orchard apples, it is so delicious we bought a few bottles 😊. The pod is beautiful, cosy and warm , clean and set In a beautiful serene setting with nothing but nature . We really enjoyed our stay and the sheeps company , the shower block was clean but had to get hubby to unlock mens side twice as it's a jack and jill shower .. but dont let that put u off the shower is boiling and the £1 fee is just right. Thankyou for amazing hospitality hope to visit again in future xxx
Lovely place to stay , so clean and tidy . Nice and quiet . Hosts especially Kathy lovely 😊. Willing to help with anything . They sent us a email while there with lots of local walks which was a great help .
What a lovely find. My wife booked up one of the pods and decided to stop off for two nights on route to Devon. We stayed with our two children and were really impressed with how much can be fitted into such a small area! The location is lovely and quiet and each of the four pods are positioned to overlook the orchard. I spoke to the couple who own the site by phone and in person on arrival and the day we left. Could not be more friendly and welcoming. Lots of advice and help with directions and ideas of what’s near by. Would stay again without a doubt. Highly recommend.
Just returned from a lovely stay at this great campsite, nestling in the countryside just outside the village of Butleigh. Superb location to explore the joys of Somerset, within a dozen miles of half a dozen marvellous nature reserves including Ham Wall, as well as Glastonbury and Wells. The site itself has a single toilet block and a coin-op shower. Steve, the owner, is very friendly and recommended several local walks to us. I noticed before writing this review that one recent reviewer had given this site one star - probably because they had been, asked, politely, by Steve to tone down their noise as they were disturbing the adjacent campers who had a young daughter. All I would say is that this is a marvellous location from which to base any Somerset explorations and I will certainly be returning to it in future.…
