A lovely location, beautiful comfy rooms and fantastic food. Above all, was the feeling of "home" provided by Beth and Roger from the minute we walked in the door. They are an amazing couple and Inn owners that gave us the most relaxing, fun and enjoyable weekend in a very long time. Our thanks to them and our fellow Inn "roomies", for the laughs and new friendships.
Stayed here last week for a night. Very nice host and location can't be beat, with the amazing lake views from the deck/porch. Had a great home-cooked breakfast too. My only comment/complaint would be I would not call the Wind & Waves room a luxury room. It is a smaller room but does have a great double walk-out door onto the deck/porch. It did have a TV, as mentioned, but was a 13" with rabbit ears, that was probably 20yrs. old. Also, the ceiling above the bed was falling apart. Again, all in all, it was a nice inn with an amazing location. I would just like to see the website description more accurately describe the room. The other odd thing, considering the covid issues the USA, and in particular Wisconsin, is dealing with, no one was required to wear masks. You could wear them, but the host and two other guests that were there when we traveled, were not wearing them. I understand this is the owners house, but you would think for her safety, and all others, this would be enforced. All the other B&Bs we stayed at enforced this. We would definitely consider staying again, probably just a different room.…
Beth was fantastic and a great cook (breakfast). Beautiful scenery and easy drive, nestled into a neighborhood on the lake so can easily take a good walk. We had the downstairs nautical suite which was clean, spacious, bright and private patio. Highly recommend! We hope to be back!
Beth was a gracious hostess and her breakfasts were delicious! The Inn is right on the lake, so we enjoyed watching the waves roll in, framed by the fall foliage. Everything was very clean and our suite was spacious. My only suggestion would be to invest in some new TV’s. Ours was quite old and small and we couldn't even get NBC. That’s a small thing, since we were there primarily to enjoy the fall colors, but it is something we do to relax in the evening. Otherwise, a lovely location and cozy surroundings. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our overnight stop at the cozy bed and breakfast, Inn at Lake Wissota. Our room was very clean, spacious and had a really pretty view of the lake. We also loved the heated mattress pad on the bed and large bathroom! There was additional common space, a beverage nook and pretty large patio/deck space for all to use as well. And the breakfast Beth made was outstanding! Thanks for a great stay!
