We came for the owner's daughter's wedding, who has been a life long friend. The inn is ADORABLE. I didn't get lucky enough to get a room, but my very good friend, the photographer, had a room and let me come and go as needed. The room is great! Clean bathroom, w a stand up shower. Bed was nice! Room is very comfortable feeling; it is like staying in someone's guest room. It was a wonderful place for a wedding! The ceremony was on the grass in the back, and there was a large tent in the front parking lot where we had dinner and then danced. When the music stopped at 11 (permit) they had a little bar that they called the speakeasy that is somewhat "hidden" - the sound was moved down there at 11 and the bar was all set up, so the party could continue. I was genuinely sad i couldn't stay there - but obv family comes first! But when my husband and I return to Chippewa Falls, we will be sure to stay here and then walk to Leinenkugel's Brewery, which is very close. :)…
This was our final night of a 5 day trip and it was so relaxing! The throwback 1950's room that was very clean...Chains should take note...If you want a cookie cutter modern Hotel don't stay here. This is what it was like back in the day!! The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Hope to stay again. Thank You!!!
Don’t skip over this property! This is the second time we stayed here and it was as great as the first. Incredible hospitality, cozy and incredibly clean rooms. Delicious breakfast and quiet location. The building and rooms are cute and frozen in time with the tiled bathrooms. Clean! Clean! Clean! The pillows and blankets even smell like they were all freshly washed and don’t have the industrial cleaner smell. Can’t wait until our next trip to Chip Falls and stay here again.
This motel is too much of a secret! we stayed two nights and this is one of the best examples of a mom/pop motel. The rooms were all redone, with nice paint and decorations The breakfast was second to no one. home cooked poached eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, quiche, and dessert I will stay there again and would recommend it to anyone
Glen Loch Inn is a great privately owned hotel off the beaten path. The grounds are well maintained and the rooms are clean and cozy. In the yard you will find tall pines, and a large deck area to enjoy your favorite beverages with friends or family. We were lucky to meet the owner who took time to give us details about the area and a little history on the facilities. In the morning you are greeted in a dining room decorated with old musical instuments and then served a home made breakfast. This will be our go to lodging when we visit Chippewa Falls again.
Cozy nostalgic place. Rooms are clean and Marilyn’s breakfast is top notch. If you don’t want a cookie cutter hotel and want to be close to the heart of Chippewa Falls this is your place. Whenever I visit my home town I book here and it’s just the best experience.
Marilyn is such a nice person, who ownes the cute quaint place just up from the Lieinenkugel Lodge . Great clean rooms, bed was comfortable and a WONDERFUL home cooked breakfast. Great place to stay at without kids.
This hidden gem was great! The owner is a single female business owner. With I am too. It is located in a great part of town. By brewery and a cute zoo! The lady was so sweet. She cooks a great breakfast for you too in her music room. Loved it!
If you love a great breakfast, a clean room, and hostess with wonderful recommendations this is the place for you. Not quite a bed and breakfast, but it's definitely not a regular roadside motel. The rainy day did not allow us to spend time on the inviting patio. Maybe next time!
Take a chance on the Glen Loch Inn! you won't regret it! Beautiful relaxing nostalgic rooms and a Breakfast you won't believe. So DELICIOUS! and all made from scratch by the Owner. Marilyn is a wonderful person who takes pride in ownership and cares about her guests. We could only stay one night but it will remain an Awesome memory for us. We highly recommend it!!
