The hotel and room are beautiful, but there is an "open concept" so the bathroom is partially open to the room so there is no privacy. I love my husband but we don't need to be that "open" with each other even after over 20 years there are somethings that should be kept private. The shower was amazing with 2 shower heads one of them being a rainshower head, very relaxing! The mini bar was stocked nicely (if you want to pay for it). The rooftop bar was great and the staff at the hotel, the bar and the restaurant were fabulous! The location of the hotel is great and there is definitely plenty of nice places to dine within walking distance and some really cute shops too.

The staff seemed very nice. We had some minor issues with our room during our stay. We are not quite sure we would visit again. Overall, the area was cute to explore and Hotel Goodwin was easy to get to. We really appreciated the free parking. That is how it should be!

I often stop in Beloit on my way out of Chicago. I have stayed at Ironworks which is very nice, but I may like Hotel Goodwin better. The rooms are large, beds super comfy and the historic building cozy and hip. The onsight restaurant is delicious. We had a wonderful meal. Much better meal than I had in Chicago's upscale restaurants. Rooftop bar looks like a fun place on a warm night. I highly recommend this hotel.

Really everything about the Hotel Goodwin is wonderful. The room is beautiful with large leather headboards, top notch everything – there’s even a record player in the room! But the breakfast was kind of disappointing. It was a table in the hallway with a couple of apples, oranges and muffins, wrapped in plastic. That was it.

Beautiful hotel with updated decor. Large bathroom with beautiful shower with a rain shower head. Loved having a turntable and records in the room. Played classic Christmas music the entire time we were on the room. Pleasant staff. Clean rooms.

Amazing Vibe! Place is bright, clean, modern, trendy…. And SMELLS AMAZING everywhere…. The shower in the room could be the coolest features ever, rising TV, record players. One of most unique stats I’ve had the pleasure to stay. Will be back multiple times.

Hotel Goodwin is a real gem! It is a boutique hotel which is very nice, super friendly staff, rooms are gorgeous, even the doors in the hallways and carpet is very cool. Best see though large glass showers anywhere I we are used to 5-star hotels.

It seems now days employers are having a hard time finding good help. Goodwin Hotel has found all the good employees! All their staff was cheerful and helpful. The place was clean and beautiful, so the staff we never saw were doing a great job as well.
