Camped at the state park for 4 days in late July. Clean beaches and facilities. Many hiking and climbing attractions on site and also within a 10 minute drive. Small dog beach available on site as well, so choose your end of the campground wisely if you need it! The gorgeous purple quartz rock is all over to be enjoyed....

There are great views, but some intense hiking. Many places to stop and see the lake. However, it was really busy when we went hiking! Too many people on a trail for my personal taste. Still a for sure must see!

DL is amazing. Beautiful rock formations and nice little hikes. Do not follow to google directions unless you know the area. You will be lost as it takes one to the South shore which is not always staffed. You will Love it. Avoid weekends as it s crazy busy and follow the road signs. The staff get very irritated with...

camped in Quartzite(sp?) campground - hilly, newer/clean shower/restroom facility. Devils Lake north side is always crowded and hectic, try south parking - less people and nice winding entrance from east

My boyfriend and I drove in from the dells for the day to take the hiking trails. Wow! What a beautiful view. The stairs at first are tiresome but once you reach cement its much easier. It's worth all the walking! Would highly recommend!! Also we love the little shop. They had unique things and ice cream too!

Have camped here twice in the past year for over a week each time. Beautiful state park but it can get crowded especially on the weekends. Beach area is under renovation but still very nice. Water is clear. Beach area has a nice sand bottom, not too deep, kayak and canoe rentals too. Great camp store on both north and...

I go here a couple times a year and always enjoy myself. I primarily use the hiking trails, but the park also offers camping, fishing, beach, and watersports. The East and West bluff trails offer amazing views of the lake and surrounding area. Some of this is a bit steep so wear decent shoes, not your beach flip flops. If...

We camped at the Quartzite campground for one night returning home from our cabin in Northern Wisconsin. The park was beautiful and the lake was so blue. The campsite was ok. We prefer a bit more privacy and these sites were pretty open. All in all it's a definate thumb up.

It has very beautiful sceneries. There are probably a lot of nice hiking trails as well. However there were just so many mosquitoes that we just can't get out of our car. Perhaps we have picked the wrong time to visit the park. I hope to come back some other day. Hopefully they will get the mosquitos under control

When you go here you won't believe you're in the Midwest. I hiked around the lake which was about 4.5 miles. Stopped at a little country store along the way. They had the cutest stuff for Sale. I also saw they had SUP rentals for the lake. I plan to do that on my next visit. Bathrooms in park are...
