We've been coming to Door County for almost 25 years. We've stayed in Sturgeon Bay and Fish Creek. This was our first time staying on the "quiet side". I am so glad we picked this place! We stayed in the Zahn House on the 3rd floor. Unbelievable unobstructed views of the bay, absolutely gorgeous!! The balcony was gigantic! Complete with... More

First we would not return. The breakfast was a muffin fruit cearal you garb and hard boil and for the price of the room we felt is was bad. Owner were fair . We have always stayed in b&b' s. To each his own.

This place has everything. Beautiful views, excellent amenities, well-decorated rooms, and good food. We came here to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary, and enjoyed every minute. We would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to stay on the quiet side of the Door County Peninsula.

We stayed on the 3rd floor of the inn and had an amazing 2 night visit. The entire grounds were immaculate, breakfast was continental style, with fresh baked muffins (flavor varied daily), fresh fruit, and granola and yogurt options. Afternoons offered fresh made lemonade (with real lemons!) and popcorn. Homemade cookies were available all day. The room was comfortable and... More

The inn is immaculate and very private with no children which was perfect. Staff was so accommodating and the food for breakfast was very good! Loved the homemade granola and oatmeal cherry cookies. Our only suggestions would be to have breakfast (especially coffee at least) a little earlier....especially when you want to get an early start though maybe that's typical... More

We are truly appreciative of the feedback we get from our guests as we are always striving to make the next guest experience even better, but we are frustrated when a guest fails to mention a problem while they are staying here as there is frequently an easy solution. All guest rooms do have refrigerators which are tucked away in... More

This is our third year staying at Blacksmith Inn and once again we were 100% pleased with our accommodations. We had stayed in the Zahn House previously and loved it. We booked late this year and our only option was the Harbor House. I knew the view wouldn't be the same but, I figured I could forgo the unobstructed view... More

We stayed in the fall and the gardens were wonderful. We were walking distance from town. Bicycles were available to us while we were there. It was expensive for being in a small town but they made our stay comfortable.
