Amazing friendly staff! Beautiful place. Very relaxing. Lovely view of the lake. The complimentary breakfast was delicious! The Top Deck Restaurant dinner was superb; our waiter was fantastic! The atmosphere is what we needed to unwind

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in cabin #20 (stonecrop). It didn’t blow us away but wasn’t the worst place we’ve stayed either. Likely will try another resort next time in DC. Positives - *The views, wood burning fireplace, peaceful, quiet and private. * bed was very comfortable *Bathroom was nice, recently remodeled. Nice hot water & good pressure. *The firewood was replenished daily. *WiFi was very good. Tv channels were adequate, basic channels. *breakfast was good. *nice outdoor heated pool and hot tub *The grounds and wedding hall are beautiful. Way more modern and better kept than the cabin. Negatives - *No entertainment or activities ….. very dull and boring but that wasn’t all bad either. * very dated and worn out, old, funky Furniture. Not comfortable at all. Hard to get in/out of. Very low sitting, 20 yr old swivel rockers. No recliners. *The extremely overpriced restaurant (on site) wasn’t appealing, we had way better dining options in DC. *Very drafty. Rotted wood on inside sills. Spiderwebs in between the screens and windows. We could feel the draft from outside and see daylight around the exterior doors. * Carpet was old, funky, worn, stained, had a couple small burns in it from previous guest’s fireplace carelessness. *mini fridge was leaking water on the floor. *no housekeeping was provided after the first night so I asked and was told it was by request only. No big deal. We were given extra bath towels. Was it worth $365/night with taxes and fees? Probably not. We’ve stayed at much nicer, better kept resorts, for far less. We paid $1,094.11 for Sat/Sun/Mon with tax & fees. Gordon Lodge is gonna have to dump some major cash into the cabins or they will fall further into disrepair.

The best place to stay in Door County. Wonderful location on the shores of Lake Michigan and North Bay. Rooms are clean and comfy and staff is super nice. The grounds are like a botanic garden. I've been coming here for years and it is one of my favorite places anywhere.

Property is beautiful but, it would be nice to have some chairs or a picnic table to sit and relax outside the trail side building. Restaurant & bar location is awesome. Bartender has a bad attitude and was rude.

We’ve been coming to Door County for 50 years, the last 15 at Gordon Lodge. We’re just sorry we didn’t find it sooner. Beautiful property. Management and staff are outstanding. Top Deck restaurant offers an wonderful menu and spectacular views of North Bay. Stand-up paddle boards and kayaks are available to explore the bay. Or just relax by the pool and hot tub. You have to check this place out!

The property environment is always excellent, hard to go wrong in Door County. The staff always goes above and beyond for me, making my family feel at home for our first trip with our son. The weather all week was perfect for hiking in the woods or sitting by the fire at Top Deck. The cabins on the North Bay side are less exposed to the wind from Lake Michigan, and still have a great view. The Trailside suites are great for families, and comfortable with a modern feel. The original Lodge rooms are charming and nostalgic, with great comforts like a semi-private patio.

Really a spectacular place to relax, reconnect and spend time with family. Plenty of daytime activities and space to keep everyone busy, or you can just relax by the pool. Top Deck has never disappointed; many meals to chose from, or just a drink and appetizer is satisfying. The views from the restaurant and surrounding property are beautiful. Glad we found this gem! 15 years strong! Come see for yourself!!

Excellent location and well maintained property. Friendly service and nice breakfast. Boathouse restaurant has a good view and drinks/appetizers. Rooms were nice but can use some upgrades as better Wi-Fi signal, USB ports, new furniture and higher water pressure for showers. Overall our stay was pleasant and enjoyed the trails and view of Lake Michigan.

G.L. is my favorite place to visit every year! I never feel more relaxed than I do in Door County, specifically at Gordon Lodge! A one week stay never seems long enough. Rory and Elyce treat us like family! Eve's service at Top Deck is second to none!!
