Bathrooms were Nice and clean, however you could not control your own temperature in the shower. Upon discharging the black water, sewage spilled out onto the ground and hoses bc The level of sewage was 4 in below top of pipe, due to a bubble in the system. VERY UNSANITARY!!! Maureen was very helpful in the office.
As first time visitors...we were very satisfied with our four day stay. The grounds and facilities were extremely well maintained...neat and very clean! The amenities were perfect for our family; great pool, spacious pickleball courts, and safe playground. The staff was super friendly and always helpful. We will absolutely return to this well-run park!
Our camping experience was mid-June 2022 and we've been coming here Father's Day W/E for 10 years: Unannounced to us, the campground is under new ownership early 2021. Not the same sweet family we come to stay with. Yet the new owners web page showed the previous family until May 2022!!!! I had tried to call and make reservations as I had always done! And couldn't get a hold of any one then shortly after it said the new web page was under construction! Now, not only did the prices go way up! NOW they want to charge an optional site holding fee or you would not get the spot YOU picked! Although the owner said they would never completely eliminate your camping there! I went round and round with the owner: Camping has always been first come first serve! The owner said it was to "maximize usage of each spot." What's to maximize? If I'm on it....it's maximized. Be warned: we travel all of Wisconsin in our pop up! All over! We don't "glamp" This is the only one we come back to because of the area! The owner said other campgrounds are doing it! HA! No they're not! Because WE TRAVEL. There are many other campgrounds in the area we'll be going to next year. They just lost us!…
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Baileys Grove. Site was great as expected, bathrooms spotless, campground clean and well maintained. Quiet, and neighborly. What really stood out this time was their ability to get a situation taken care of so quickly. Our camp neighbor was pulling a rather large 5th wheel in at dusk and HIT the electric/ pole and water line! They had a repair person out within 30 min, went to each site that was effected and asked it they needed water ( water had to be shut down at some sites), came back to give us updates hourly, the whole snafu didn't take but a short time to get resolved. I was very impressed by their reaction time and helpfulness. This is a campground that is well cared for and staff couldn't be nicer. Always a pleasure to stay there. Oh, and did I mention, reasonably priced!…
After changing our family vacation date to a weekend they had availability and making reservations for kayaking trips etc, we were told we could not have the kids tent on our campsite and there was nothing else available (like I would have the kids stay in another site alone!) the website clearly states that you can have extra tents but there is a charge. Very disappointing and then we had to pay to cancel!!
We stayed here in July 2020 (over July 4th), we were in the back part of the park normally reserved for “seasonal” folks. The park is clean, quiet and well kept even though the park was full most of the time we were here. The parking spaces are gravel, level with enough room to park your tow vehicle, we did not use the laundry of bath facilities. We will definitely return.
We just got back from our 4 day stay at Baileys Grove, and we are already planning our next stay! As tent campers, we were slightly apprehensive as we pulled up and noticed mostly RV’s on the grounds, thinking we weren’t going to get much of a “camping experience”. But after our first night, we fell in love with it! Very friendly staff, pristine bathrooms/showers with round the clock cleaning and garbage pick up (super important in times like these!) and the cleanest pool and park for the kids! We will be recommending this site to our friends and family looking to get away to Door County for camping, and will certainly be back ourselves.
Having a vacation with the family is always wonderful the accommodations are good the popcorn's hot the coffee's hot in the morning the showers the campground is very clean the only problem we had was the pool said heated it was cold unable to swim still had a nice time
This place is clean, well-maintained, and has level sites. Although sites were a bit close not as tight as others we’ve experienced. And since we were out sightseeing much of the day not a problem. Cool temps dissuaded us from swimming but the pool looked clean also. The manager was swift to offer bandaids straight from the first aid kit for my husband’s cut hand (ours were old and broke). People and dogs were friendly and pleasant. I’d definitely return for our next Door County adventure!
Great place to stay! Very nice sites! Great people running the campground! We would highly recommend it! We went up to Door County for our Anniversary and enjoyed our stay here. Bailey's Grove is close to all areas in Door County. There are several Wineries in the area to visit and the cherries are in season this time of year!
