We have a 35 foot fifth wheel. We had a full hook up and pull in site which was nice. The actual campsite was overgrown and had low tree branches hanging over the site where we set up our chairs, grill, etc. It made it hard to maneuver around. It was close to all the villages in Door county which made it easy for seeing the sights. I only gave it a 3 star due to the conditions of our campsite.

This campground is clean and wonderful. The showers/bathroom are new and nice. The pool is in great condition and well kept. Teresa is so helpful, kind and accommodating. Dorian and Sylvia are really friendly as well. People in the campground are nice and social. We are leaving tomorrow and have been totally happy with our stay. Thank you Beantown!

We chose Beantown Campground for a last-minute trip to door County. It had one of the few sites that was available. On reserving a site on their website a site number was not assigned and it was noted that the site could change and would be assigned upon arrival. .When we arrive near sundown it was no one in the office and a man in what appears to be a residence noticed I was walking around outside granted something at me through the window and came down to escort us to our site in a golf cart. Upon arriving at our site or what we thought was our site there was another RV park there already and we followed him yet again in his golf cart to another site that was open. This turned out to be the site that the person occupying our site was to go to. We returned to our site and waited about a half hour for the occupant to pack up and pull out. By then it was very dark out and made for a challenging time backing into the site and getting connected. Simply based on the amount of RVs coming and going there seems to be mostly occupied by seasonal campers rather than vacationers. Relocation is good, the roads are well-kept, mixed asphalt and gravel. One asking staff for any literature about activities especially for children we were told they had none. Activities or literature about the campground. It was clean and quiet but with nothing to entertain our son, it necessitated daily road trips around door County to find something to do. Please park may be just fine if you're a couple simply looking to park your RV in a quiet place if you have children And are expecting children's activities other than a swimming pool, it's a set up for disappointment. The Wi-Fi signal was strong however the Internet connection was glacially slow when it worked.

We came for the 4th of July holiday. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They escorted us to our site in a golf cart and delivered firewood to us. We rode our bikes into Bailey’s Harbor for all the activities, which was an easy ride. The only downside was that the sites were fairly small for our motor home. It had all the hookups including a few cable channels.

We stayed here in a 37 foot class A motorhome, towing a car. Had excellent site at the end of a row plenty of grass and open space. Site was gravel and fairly level. Owner was very friendly as we checked in and kept the place clean. The large pool also look very well-maintained and clean, a little was too cool to swim. There was a beer fest in town the weekend we were here and many of the sites were full of partiers. However they were very respectful and quieted down at a good time. Loved watching them have a good time.

Reserved online based off of location and campground description. This is no campground it's an RV park. When I arrived and checked in with the office the owner at the desk said nothing until I told him I was checking in. Response was not welcome or thank you but, you reserved online and that was it he then told me to follow him as he hopped in his golf cart and drive to a site between 2 large RV's. I nodded and backed in my pop up camper. Sites are narrow and right next to one another. Fire pit was full of leaves, trash and stones next to neighboring RV sewer. Not where I want to sit and enjoy a fire or cook dinner or marshmallows. RV'ers used this place as a party grounds as they could be heard late into the night there seemed to be no quiet time hours to observe as even after they passed out music player loudly from a site directly below the owners home. My family will never come back and I will make sure to tell all my camping family and friends this is not a place to camp especially with kids!

Although pricey, this is a good location for touring the peninsula. Very close to downtown Baileys Harbor and short drives to towns on the west side like Sister Bay. All of the seaside towns are charming with lots of flowers and a wide variety of restaurants. You can bicycle pretty much anywhere. There are free concerts almost every day in one town or the other. Farmers markets abound. There is easy access to the water with many public beach areas. Our site at the park was unlevel side to side, and we ended up with one back tire slightly off the ground. The sites contain white rock that left some very deep ruts after a storm. The staff leveled out some of the ruts but not all of them. The white rock is small and gets everywhere. We were on an end site and had a nice green area on driver side. The passenger side was pretty close to our neighbor. We had our own utility hook up but some sites share it. The WII FI is either good or terrible. Utilities good. Directv satellite good. Verizon 4g 3 bars (varies at different sites). There is a nice, clean pool, and an activity center with a pool table, ping pong, and arcade games. There is also a basketball court and playground. Lots of kids riding their bikes or skateboards through the park. For the most part, it was quiet although some weekends got a little loud as the locals came to party. We would stay here again.

Campground is like new. Very "fresh" and the owner is on location and that shows. Showers and rest rooms excellent. Pool area like a five star hotel. Laundry room VERY clean. The shop has small things you need like RV Toilet paper, chocolate and things you don't need like T-shirts etc. They sell camp wood as well. 3 minutes from the city center. Over all a great place and you feel that the owner (John) really cares for his campground. Everthing works even if the internet is like most campground internets, not so reliable all the time. Great Verizon reception so no problems. HIGHLY recommended!

We have friends who have an RV but we do not. So we found this place that has cabins and campsites. The manager was very helpful in making our arrangements so that our cabin was directly across from our friends campsite. Now I really don't know much about camp grounds but this one seemed pretty nice to me. Grounds were very clean and it was very quiet in the evening. The cabin was pretty new and very clean. One thing to be aware of is that there is nothing in the cabin other than furniture and appliances. Oh wait I take that back there was a roll of toilet paper. So you will need to bring EVERYTHING if you stay in the cabins. No sheets or blankets, no silverware, no dishes or pots and pans. You do get a coffee maker and a toaster. But as long as you know this in advance and are prepared to deal with it, it was a great weekend stay. They also have free internet but it is spotty.

In a word Management here is bad.... We reserved and paid for our site in advance. When we arrived the office/registration door was open but, no one was on duty. We proceeded to unhook our tow vehicle, still no one arrived. Finally, my husband walked over to a residence with an open garage door and found the owner who promptly jumped on his golf cart and led us to a site. When we arrived at our site the fire pit was full of garbage bags from McDonald's (Fyi no McDonald's anywhere near here) So, it was obvious the site was not inspected prior to our arrival. The only waste disposal for the campground is up near the owners residence. There was no picnic table on the site, so we had to get one and bring it over. Again, something that should have been noticed and delt with prior to our checking in. Nezt... no WIFI password with check in package. So, up to the office we go. The bathrooms are large, but sadly no door to lock on the shower stalls only a curtain. Safety first, so big no no in our books. That leaves us with the other facilities, laundry on site yes, expensive $2.00 per wash and similar to dry I suspect but I ran out of quarters as the machines do a wash cycle in about 15 minutes so I missed any rinse cycle at all. Sadly no management to get any more quarters to either use the dryer or rerun the wash with fabric softener.... Offer satellite cable, there are 8 (yes eight) channels, the antenna gets 7 .... So I am not sure what satellite provider they are using but... The sites are northing special, grassed with gravel for the RV. I do have issues when RV PARKS PLACE FIREPITS BESIDE A SEWER DISPOSAL... Or beside where the neighbour unit will be situated. Some thought should be taken with setting out their fire pits. We arrived at 11:00 on Monday September 11 and there were only a handful of long term RV's in the park, there is no reason for the manager not to be close to or in the office and further more no reason the site was not ready for our arrival. For these reasons we are giving it only two stars, mostly, the WIFI is good, and the park is for the most part clean. The Campgrounds are no where near the town site of Bailey, and there was a lot of traffic noise.
