Nothing special about the park. Basically what you'd expect from a state park as far as RV/camping accommodations. Does have a nice beach along Big Bay that connects to the Town Park via a boardwalk. Easy bike ride into town.

My husband and I made an impromptu trip to Bayfield and decided to take the fairy to Madeline Island. This State Park was nice and the views along the shoreline were beautiful. This would be a great shoreline to follow on a paddleboard or kayak.
