Picture perfect and so much fun This place is exactly like the pictures you see Very clean, friendly, comfortable and updated Stayed with 3 friends and never felt cramped-plenty of space -kitchen, bedroom and balcony felt like a town home stay. I will be staying here again!! The garage is heated and small but there is enough parking just a tight turn around once inside. The ski out/locker room is on the same floor as garage- so once you get your locker combination just put boots and skis in locker and everything else in your room- hands and hassle free The hearth room is magnificent and just relaxing with it’s beautiful views, 2 gigantic fireplaces, books and comfortable couches with TVs - believe me if you don’t ski this is where you will want to stay- shuttle comes by to pick you up and take you wherever you want to on the mountain- just convenience you didn’t know you needed.

The room was beautiful and so was the view, the people in the lobby were helpful and we were right next to the slopes which was very good. We weren’t very closed to the village put there’s still some things to do at top of the world, the room was great and everything i’d Expect in a room

Comparing to other ski lodging in price category ($600/night plus taxes and cleaning fees) we thought this was overpriced. We made plans late, so not a lot was available. The room (306) and building were very clean and nicely decorated. Walls were very thin, could here neighbors. “Well appointed kitchen” didn’t have colander or salt shaker. soaring eagle is too far from Village and Silver Creek to walk, and parking is difficult. Shuttle system was slow. Waited 45 minutes on a Saturday. For the price, Soaring Eagle should have its own shuttle as some of the other places have. Overall, Comfortable place to stay, ski locker and garage parking, but just expected a bit more for price

Were invited to spend a weekend with my sister and brother-in-law. Even though it was the off season, as it was almost on the way home from the Smoky Mountains, where we were spending several days, we accepted. The drive from Lynchburg was quite challenging, and got even more difficult for the last 10-15 miles, which were totally fogged in. The map on our nav system really helped prepare us for each upcoming turn, and it got us to within 15 feet of the front of the Lodge. A shadow about 30 feet to our right turned out to be Sis (in her car) who was waiting for us, mainly because there is no cell service on the mountain. From there to the indoor parking and up to the room. Amazing! The room was a huge 2BR 2 bath layout. Three TVs, great kitchen, a wine rack with wine, a wireless router, washer and dryer, etc, etc. Have stayed at many properties over the years, and this could be the best ever. The lodge also had a great hot tub and fitness center. Only 4-5 rooms were occupied and not much going on anywhere else at Snowshoe. Only one restaurant was operating - Foxfire Grill - and it was quite good. The night before our departure there was a dusting of snow. Had concern about the drive down the mountain. Fortunately the road has been ashed during the night. The Lodge itself was incredible. Would like to return the area when things are hopping.

The condo was very clean and roomy, with plenty of space for the four of us- two bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, dining room, and a fireplace. There were literally only eight cars in the parking garage, so it was very quiet and relaxing. There are three hot tubs, a sauna, and fitness room. The hearth room is beautiful! It has many chairs, couches, books, and games so you can hang out and relax. The condo is new with upgraded amenities. The restaurant is closed in the summer and there is not a lot store options, so I recommend bringing supplies. It’s a little over a mile from The Village, which has many dining and shopping options.
