Very disappointed. NO PARKING. Construction worker’s used all the parking places. No ice machines. Definitely no where up here to eat. Wouldn’t do this again. All I can say the top of the mountain has beautiful views. Other then that don’t waste your time unless you ski in the winter.

Dear Dottie47, I'm sorry to hear about your experience this summer at our hotel, and about the inconvenience of the construction workers taking up all the parking. We addressed the parking issue and beginning mid-August through the November 25th, we made arrangements for our guests to park in parking lot of the condo's next door. Construction of the new Corduroy Lodge is nearing completion and will provide sufficient parking for all our hotel guests. With regard to the dining closures, this summer has been a bit challenging with Covid, as the resort decided to close Monday-Wednesday. In anticipation of the reduced demand from Covid, the resort closed all its restaurants except for weekends. We followed suit with our restaurants as well this summer. This winter season the resort plans to have all restaurants open 7 days a week, subject to occupancy restrictions for Covid-precautions. I hope that you will come back and visit us again after the pandemic is behind us, so that you can enjoy all the amenities the resort has to offer.

We were so excited to stay at this hotel given its recent upgrades and upscale amenities. It is conveniently located near the village with is also a plus. Unfortunately upon arrival, we found the bed to be insufferable. After a long day of skiing, rest is key. For that reason, this rating drops to a one because it is only used for sleep. This mattress feels more like a box spring. Wish we could move hotels or units but unfortunately non refundable and the staff was unable to accommodate. This place would be a home run if it were not for the beds. I do not recommend.

Dear Misstravels20, We are so sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay with us. Thanks for bringing the mattress issue to our attention. All our mattresses were put into service in December 2014. This means the mattresses are a little over 5 years old. However, being a ski resort, our occupancy year round is quite low. We are very busy during the 4 months of the winter and not busy at all the rest of the year. So these mattresses are really only 2-3 years old based on actual nights someone has slept on them. That being said, we do appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will inspect the mattresses in all our rooms and make any necessary replacements.

This was a great place to stay. The location is less than a stone's throw from one of the ski lifts and it is right on the ski trail so in and out skiing is very convenient. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom has a deep tub for sole muscles. The service is very good and the lounge is a great place to meet friends around a fireplace. Wireless connectivity is so so and keeps kicking you off which can be a nuisance. The restaurant was excellent and worth the price, but with very limited vegetarian options. The pizza shop was perfect and the pizzas were perfection as was the friendly service. I would totally go back.

This is a beautiful Inn. We chose a very quiet time of year to visit, but it was perfect for us. There is a restaurant (which hadn't opened yet for the season) and bar. We had a room with a beautiful view! From The Corduroy Inn a short walk will bring you to Snowshoe Village where there are shops, restaurants and taverns. There is also shuttles available. If you want a lot of hoopla while in Snowshoe, check on the schedules. My husband said that the slopes were topnotch and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of our trip. P.S. We did not ski, but he knows from past experience.

Just wrapped up a great fall golf trip to the Raven Golf course and stayed at the Corduroy Inn. As with my last several trips there, the accommodations were top notch, and the location and service were great. The Corduroy is a perfect location for a fall trip to the mountain and an even better location during ski season with lifts on both sides of the mountain within 100 yards of the Inn. The trip to the golf course takes 10 minutes and the ride down the mountain with the fabulous vistas in the morning makes it stunning. The Tuques restaurant and bar, literally 10 paces from the Corduroy Inn made the trip even more memorable. Dan the bartender is fantastic and lends an ear to the post golf "woulda coulda's". I am looking forward to the ski trip in February or March! Let it snow (after golf season ends)!
