Stayed at rimfire lodge and it is nice. Just be careful when booking particularly with couples. I mistakenly booked a room that had two single beds. That was a little odd. First time ever saw two single beds in a room. I had to upgrade to a suite but front desk personnel was very pleasant to work with.Lodge rooms are... More

The weather has not been very good for skiing this year but Snowshoe has done an excellent job adapting. During our trip we were fortunate to have a couple of days of new snow and the resort worked hard grooming the slopes at night. Lift lines got long by Friday afternoon and our only complaint was that the Ballhooter lift... More

One night here before my "real" condo was ready. It's dark and it stinks. The hallways are creepy, weirdly lit, and remind you of an asylum. The stove was broken, fireplace didn't work without Maintence coming. Toilet clogged. Carpet feels oily and gross. Did I mention it stunk? Like body odor and garlic sauce. Parking garage is awful. Never again.... More

Had a great time at this hotel. It was very clean and offered nice ammenities. Our room was well appointed and affordable. The TV was pretty old though. Location is awesome old spruce tavern right outside Starbucks ks in the building. It is t technically ski out but your about a 200 ft walk to the top off ballhooter lift.... More

Love to walk 50 yards to restaurants and 100 yards to the slope. Didn't like the noise. Very clean, very friendly people, excellent parking. Kitchen wasn't very well stocked with pots and pans. Heating system was odd - seemed to be cooling things off most of the time. One bedroom plus pullout sofa would not be comfortable for more than... More

Stayed 3 nights for MLK weekend; we wanted to stay 2 but 3 nights were required. The location is great! Ski in/ski out. Has a Starbucks right in the building; you don't even have to go outside for your am caffeine! And very close to shops, bars and restaurants. Even have lockers for skis and poles. But the room was... We came to Snowshoe after riding the Cass Railway to view the fall leaves. The one bedroom was a little pricey for the season. With taxes, the room costs a little under $200. This is the second week of October and there is nothing open at the top of the mountain, except Foxfire Grille. The condo has a clean well... More

We booked this location based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. Perhaps it was solely room 426; however the only positive I can say is housekeeping does an exceptional jobs on the room noting the age of this facility. After we checked in a wonderful representative pointed to two other locations to stay at for future reference. We had no... More

The lodge is the perfect place to stay if you want a cozy room, close to the slopes! It only took two minutes to get from our room to the lifts and slopes. Our room had a sitting area with a timed gas fireplace We also had a small kitchen that was complete with dishes, a fridge, an oven, and... More

The Rimfire Lodge location was great. It was close to all the shops and restaurants in the village. And a very short walk to the slopes! The ski lockers were very convenient. The room was larger than I expected and it was decorated very nicely. Kitchen had all we needed. The heated underground parking was the best! But it is... More
