Really enjoyed my stay at the highland house. It's directly in the center of snowshoe's village with easy access to dining, bars, ski rental, lift tickets and of course the slopes. The condos have a village side and a slope side. I recommend a slope side condo for the great views, but the village side has a great feel to....

Loved Snowshoe Mountain, and Highland House! This was our first trip to a ski resort of any kind (we're not skiers), and my husband and I have a toddler, and another baby on the way. To say the least, we were concerned about our range of activities being extremely limited. We just really wanted to get away and enjoy some...

First let me say that Snowshoe has probably the best skiing in the mid-Atlantic, the slopes were great.. crowded but lots of snow. We stayed at Highland house. We've probably been to Snowshoe 12-14 times, staying also at Rimfire and Allegheny. Before going down we called and told them we were arriving around 12 and asked if there was any...

After reading reviews on several properties, I chose Highland house for its location (ski in/ski out and next door to equipment rentals). Our unit (226) was at the end of the hallway with a balcony over looking the village and was located next to the fitness center (including sauna and hot tub). The unit was nicely equipped, clean and spacious....

Overall, we enjoyed the stay. There were issues though. I booked the room on their website and it didn't mention that they only do housekeeping once every 3 days. They do leave a good deal of towels though so there were enough of them for 3 days. Housekeeping showed up before 9am when we were still in the room. Even...

The balcony was huge! Easy access to the slopes and close to all the shops and restaurants. Loved having a mini kitchen in the room...

We stayed in 409 which is a three bedroom unit. The unit is in good condition. The kitchen is fully stocked, microwave and dishwasher. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a large bathroom connected. The bed was comfortable. The shower is very large but no tub. The bath has a over/under washer and dryer which is a plus....

We had a beautiful view. But the beds where small. and the mattress was hard. Bedding left a lot to be desired it was not comfortable. Television was small, dark and hard to see. Custodial staff was great. We had a great time with easy access to shopping and restaurants. Just wish the bed had been a little more comfortable.

We stayed next door last year but they were full so was a little concerned this wouldn't be as nice as Allegheny but it was and we were that much closer to lessons or are starting point in the morning. Great view off balcony of lift and slopes too. Walk out the door and be at a restaurant in 1-2...

Great view of mountain-top village or slopes. Great access to slopes. Clean, comfortable beds. Enough closet-space and hooks for whole family. Full kitchen had all necessary items to prepare family meals. Reasonable cost.
