We checked in at 1PM, we alerted the front desk that the room had 2 light bulbs out, broken remotes and A DIRTY AIR FILTER that is so dirty I am sneezing as soon as we entered!!! So Nasty!!! After 2 hrs I called back.... then at 730PM I called again and was transferred to "JANE" the manager. I explained...

We spent a weekend getaway at Snowshoe and booked Expedition Station for its central location to the slopes and within the village. That aspect was fantastic! However, this place is no more than a cheap budget motel. When we arrived, our room was a decent size (300 sq ft), and technically had all the amenities described by the resort website....

Expedition Station is great if you want to stay close to Snowshoe Village and be walking distance to the slopes. Found the room to be perfect for a one night stay. The amenities included, TV (with connectivity to YouTube, Amazon, NetFlix etc), DVD Player, Coffee maker, small kitchenette (microwave, 2 burner stove, sink, dishes, silverware, dish soap). Bathroom was plenty...

I booked a 2 night stay for my son who was traveling home from school for Christmas break. He wanted to stop and snowboard with friends but wasn't sure if he would stay both nights. I booked with Reservations.com and was told numerous times by the agent that I could cancel the 2nd night but had to pay for the...

If you are staying at Expedition Station, you are in an amazing spot at the top of the mountain. The ski lockers are a wonderful addition, as you grab your skis on the way out the door and are literally right on the slopes. Location wise, Expedition Station is on the slopes and in the village - it just can...

A clean simple accommodation right by slope side. They a have a "heated" ski locker from which you can walk straight on the slope. Unfortunately no underground parking and their adjacent small parking lot gets full quickly. The bathrooms are in much better shape than the Rimfire and use Delta appliances.

We stayed 4 nights on a skiing vacation and it was great! They provide a locker for the skis and you get out of the door directly on the slope. The studio was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Great place to stay, right on the slope, free ski locker with your room, walk right out of ski storage area and you are on slopes! Right in the middle of the village so you can walk everywhere. Stayed there twice and will keep coming back

This place is literally right on the slopes at the top of the hill. Step outside and you're skiing. Kitchenette provided pots/pans, toaster, coffee maker, two burner stove top, small fridge and a microwave. Couch/sofa in addition to bed, which makes for a home like feel. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. Shower always had piping hot water,...
