The Morning Glory Inn was a wonderful place to settle in during our visit to NRAO and the surrounding area. The large room was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing! The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The beds were very comfortable. Rod and Karin were friendly. We were running quite late and they were very accommodating. Good breakfast. Nice rooms, felt like you were at home. It was very clean. Definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at the Morning Glory Inn in Slatey Fork, WV - a tiny town tucked in the mountains. It was clean and comfortable. I especially loved the long front porch with rocking chairs. Everything at breakfast was homemade, and Rod's 'cheesy eggs' were the best! I highly recommend this charming inn.

My wife and i stayed here for a week on a motorcycle trip and absolutely loved it. This is a motorcycle friendly establishment. I had trouble with my bike just 20 miles from arriving their and when i met Rod in the parking lot he offered to help with any supplies he had all before we entered the establishment. We...

very peaceful and quiet. Very beautiful location with beautiful flowers. would highly recommend the buffet type breakfast with made to order scrambled eggs. everything was fresh. Lots of homemade items from bread to banana bread. Innkeepers very attentive to needs at breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here if in this area.

Once again everything was great! To the comfortable beds, great hospitality and awesome breakfast, I believe that this a real wonderful place to stay and enjoy what West Virginia has to offer. The cheesy eggs are the best and the homemade banana nut bread is delicious!

The combinations were great. Host were accommodating, but we thought breakfast rather boring. Nothing on the breakfast buffet was hot, except the scrambled eggs upon request. We were very pleased with Morning Glory. 👈

Hi Lorraine, Rod and I are so sorry you found our breakfast boring. We try very hard to please everyone. It is just my husband and I and a four burner stove so a menu is out of the question. We have talked about expanding the kitchen and adding a chef but of course that would increase out costs and...

This is such a nice place. My husband and I booked one night, and as soon as we saw the room, we asked for another and luckily got it. The vaulted ceiling (Room 203) with the skylight was great. The room was very large and comfortable. There was an extra fan in the closet, which did come in handy as...

The Title says it all, this is a great place to just relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the WV Mountains. The owners Rod and Karin will bend over backwards to ensure you have everything you need. We were on a motorcycle trip for our anniversary and enjoyed every minute we stayed at the Morning Glory Inn. The Room was...

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay here. The inn sits back from the road and is surrounded by gardens, a stream, and woods. It’s a quiet, relaxing setting. There is a long porch for sitting, rocking, sipping or snacking. Our room, 101, was spacious and very clean, including a welcoming bed with nice linens and pillows, and a fridge. The...
