You have to stay at Morning Glory Inn. It is well worth the drive. The owners, Nathan and Staci provided hospitality that blew us away! The room was extremely cozy and spacious. The room had a Cusinart regular filter coffe maker with supplied coffee tea and condiments, a small refridgerator, microwave, hair dryer and ethernet cable for internet. There are many amazing things to see such as the Cass Railroad train rides, Snow Shoe resort restaurants and shops, Green Bank Observatory and more. There is on-site parking right near the entrance. The outdoor seating areas provide a great way to enjoy the outdoors in a relaxed way! The price includes breakfast vouchers that you use at the Route 66 restaurant near the Inn. The Yamaha player grand piano in the main livingroom area provided great music as an added bonus! If you are looking for an intimate, cozy, non-hotel enviornment, this is the place!

We stayed at Morning Glory Inn for three nights. Our hosts Nathan and Staci were perfect hosts. Our room was extremely spacious. We felt we arrived as guests and left as friends. The location is ideal for visiting Cass Railway, Green Bank Observatory end Snowshoe Mountain. We will certainly stay at Morning Glory Inn when we visit West Virginia next time.

The Morning Glory Inn has been our favorite place in the area for several years now, and we wanted to give kudos to the new owners, Nate and Staci. They've made some updates to the property, including high-speed, fiber optic internet. While they're not doing breakfast yet due to Covid, they do provide vouchers for a breakfast place that is right on the way to the slopes. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the common living room area feels like home. I would highly recommend this place!

Our stay at Morning Glory Inn was wonderful, made even more enjoyable by the hospitality of owner/managers Nathan and Stacey. The common room has a great fireplace for all to enjoy and your room will afford you a comfortable bed and homely amenities to return to after your day's adventures. I would certainly advise travelers to consider this B&B as opposed to pricier options in the Snowshoe Mountain Village - you won't regret it! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

So there aren’t alot of options in the area for lodging during the off season for Snowshoe. We aren’t B & B people but this place got so many great reviews we decided to give it a try. First this B & B does have new Owners Staci & Nathan….and they are super sweet, responsive and nice. When we arrived Staci greeted us at the door along with Rosebud the resident dog, we loved Rosebud!! The Inn is currently undergoing renovations, looks like they are painting the outside white which will be very lovely once finished, as the wood makes it look a little run down in pictures. The main level is very farm house modern. We stayed in room 201 with a King Bed. The rooms spacious and the bed was a dream.. best nights sleep. I am not sure what the owners plans are for renovating but the room could use an update in the furniture and decor department, its a bit 1990’s and doesn’t match the farm house main level vibe. The bathroom must have gotten new flooring as it was updated vinyl but there was a huge gap in the floor and baseboard where old tile must have been. There was also a sign the whirlpool doesn’t whirl anymore (Which is no big deal for us). The Bedding was clean and cozy as well as the bath towels. The biggest thing to note is this is a Radio Free Zone, no phone service or Wi Fi. The owners have hard wired cables that can span the whole room. The owners were even kind enough to find me an adaptor for my lap top. Due to Covid they don’t serve breakfast but give you a voucher to Route 66 Diner or Last Run…go to Last Run, Route 66 was terrible. Overall Inn was comfy and quiet and I would stay again, can’t wait to see the renovations! Just can’t say enough about how great the owners were!!

They are very sweet family, extremely accommodating. Are room was perfect, very clean and large. The beds are so so comfortable, best sleep in months. Beautiful area, very short drive to Cass to ride the scenic railroad. Short drive up the mountain to Snowshoe. Beautiful place and great hosts highly recommend to stay here.

Nestled in the foothills of Snowshoe Mountain, West Virginia, the Morning Glory Bed and Breakfast is truly serene. My husband and I sincerely appreciated the hospitality owners Nathan and Staci showed us during our recent visit and we will be planning a return trip next year!

We LOVED staying here! We were looking for a socially-distanced pandemic getaway in the mountains and were lucky to come upon the Inn (of course, we did our homework on TripAdvisor!) First impression: as soon as I made the online reservation, Rod & Karin sent a personal welcoming email with directions. You can tell that they have put tender loving care into their B&B. All the little decorating details; the homemade breads, cakes, and granola; the comfy quilts and pillows - all speak to an extraordinary level of attention to comfort. The Inn is beautiful outside and inside, with sumptuous woodwork and comfy furnishings. Although we could not have a communal breakfast due to Covid restrictions, they stocked our fridge with enough fresh food that we did not need to eat lunch! It’s right next to Snowshoe Ski Mtn, and a quick ride to the Cass RR and the Green Bank Observatory. And, PS: it’s totally cozy and romantic!

We have been going to Morning Glory Inn for about 17 years and always have a wonderful stay. The Inn is beautiful inside and out and Rod and Karin make you feel so comfortable as if you were at home. Breakfast is delicious with Karin's homemade granola and banana nut bread. Yum! This has got to be the cleanest place we have ever stayed. I cannot say enough how wonderful this Inn is... Looking forward to returning again next year.
