We expected a nice place close-in to Shepardstown, spending 3 nights to enjoy the CATF summer theatre. What we found was an oasis - a contemporary, beautiful home filled with remarkable art from around the world, blended together to form a warm, wonderful destination in of itself. We stayed in the Sunflower room - spacious, non-frilly, and a terrific bed.... More

We just returned from a wonderful weekend at this lovely inn. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. We loved the four poster bed in the indigo room. We don't usually sleep well away from home but this bed is so comfortable that we just had to linger. Heather, the innkeeper, is so much fun... More

My man and I stayed two nights at Moler's Crossing in the beginning of June. We had a lovely time. The house and grounds are beautiful, and relaxing. We stayed in the Indigo room. It was pretty, and the bed was great. Breakfast was made for us both mornings, and we opted to eat on the lovely patio. We took... More

We spent four nights in the Indigo Room. The flowers, the five star breakfasts, the comfortable rooms, the afternoon wine and cheese, the terrific hints on what sites to see in the area... Everything about our stay was wonderful. While reading a book on the front porch swing, we were visited by a spotted fawn. The lightening bug show at... More

Betsy, I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at the Inn! I loved reading your review - one of my favorite things is to sit on the back porch and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Who doesn't love a good lightning bug show? :) Please come back anytime! Best, Sandra (owner) More

This is a wonderful inn, more like staying in a beautiful home nestled in the woods. And yet, it is only about 5 minutes from Shepherdstown's restaurants and activities. The innkeeper, Heather, made wonderful breakfasts and was a wealth of information about the area. This is a great place to spend a relaxing few days.

The property is a contemporary house with woods in the back and farm fields in front and surrounded by a large lawn. We enjoyed the house and bucolic landscape of farm fields and woods. The breakfasts and evening wine / cheese hour were delicious! We also, made s'mores at the outdoor firepit. We made to feel comfortable every step of... More

We had a wonderful weekend and this is a beautiful place with all the comforts of home We relaxed, shopped, played games, watched videos and had some good food. We had our morning coffee out on the front porch sitting on the swing and enjoying nature. In the evening we sat around the fire pit in very comfortable chairs and... More

I couldn't have asked for a more lovely weekend. The Indigo room was beautiful, warm, and relaxing......just what we were seeking. Francesca, the innkeeper, made wonderful breakfast the 2 mornings we were there, and each night, she would set up a wine and cheese spread for guests to serve themselves by the fire. Her hospitality was impeccable! I wish we... More

We just got back from a lovely weekend at the Inn. Francesca is a very attentive and kind host who made our getaway extra special with all of her kind and thoughtful gestures.
