If your looking for an escape from the real world then this place has it all! You'll find what your looking for here. The property is BEAUTIFUL. The hiking trails are peaceful with lots of things to see. The amenities are top notch! The bars and night life are fun. The pool is big and plays great music. The restaurant is delicious and offers SO many options! We've met people from ALL over at Roseland. Made many many new friends. The management is so friendly and welcomed us like family.
Just wanted to say had an excellent adventure here over Memorial Day Weekend! The facilities were well maintained and exceptionally clean. The new-ish pool area and bar were phenomenal! But really, this review is about the staff and guests! Everyone, from the guests to the grounds crew, office staff, to the UTV riding garbage taker, to the restaurant staff, to the bartenders (expected😉) to the DJ, and everyone I forgot, were just super friendly and helpful!! They all genuinely wanted you to be there and have a great time. Plus the "tab system" is very helpful, and you don't need to carry a card or cash around all the time. We stayed in a RV, the site had water/electric and was level. Very suitable for a mountain campground. The interior roads are narrow, so it is well suited to class B's and smaller C's. I'd call ahead for information with full on large Class A/C RV's. All in all 5 stars! Can't wait for another trip!…
Had a great time! Highly recommend this camp ground! Employees are very friendly, easy to make new life long friends, food is great. If you want an experience that you will never forget, go to roseland!
We actually didn’t get to visit but we were scheduled to. My husband got sick and we had to cancel our reservation. The customer service was amazing. The man on the phone was so kind and understanding. We hope to visit soon. Thank you for the excellent customer service.
Mother Nature may have been a little bipolar this weekend for Memorial Day. But we still had an awesome time at the Campground. I want to take the time to thank the owners in the staff for such a wonderful weekend. Im looking forward to coming back this summer and making more memories at Roseland!
After going to Roseland for 13 hours years, I was asked to leave and never come back my membership suspended. This was because I helped a disabled ex Navy veteran move out of his cabin 707 after his lease ran out. So I guess I’m guilty by association because he was also suspended of his membership. But really it’s just as well because I was really sick and tired of their republican thrashing of my politics being a Democrat at the bar in public whenever the owners got drunk (which was often) it got old years ago but I tolerated it. But no more. So thank you guys I appreciate the push out of your “resort” honestly. Roderick White-Parkersburg WV.
Nicely maintained but the worst management. Greedy and rude. They haven't a clue about hospitality and it is all about squeezing every penny from guests. Concerns and comments are met with contempt and dismissed.
We stayed in our tent at one of their campsites and had a great time! All the staff was very friendly and helpful as well as welcoming! The new bar at the pool was fantastic! Everything seems to be well taken care of and clean. The club at night was a blast as well!
About 6 years ago a man from Canada told me about how wonderful Roseland is. It has been on my bucket list ever since. Finally, I made it. It surpassed my expectations. This place is a mountain top paradise. Very friendly and welcoming staff. It's also very clean. The views are spectacular. Great food at the bar, great food at the restaurant. The pool area is gorgeous and will be even better next season with the planned renovations. I highly suggest their frozen drinks! Mmmm! Pizza is great as well. I found the clientele to be a refreshing mix of professionals, very friendly. The seasonal folks are also very nice and inclusive. Now for the bad part! The drive up the mountain is less than desirable. I found that driving up from New Martinsville via Proctor Creek Rd/St. Joseph's road to be tolerable. I drive a 4WD truck and pull a 25 foot camper. Just be careful! Shout out to Troy, Matt, Ben, Dan, Scott, Chris, Harley, & Tyler. ALL of you made my stay just perfect! It's a hell of a drive from Florida but I'll be back. Sincerely Ed…
This place is amazing. Beautiful scenery, great facilities, but most importantly very, very nice people. I can't stress that enough. Just a lot of fun, easy going energy. All the facilities are very nice and the main area feels like a small town square. Showers were all hot and very clean. Food was great. Bar service was great. I literally have no complaints. The drive up is a little aggravating. Just winding and slow and I was just ready for a beer.
