Cons: No one smiled, except for the casino employee. Bell hop for checkin didn't know what that meant. She kind of figured that she was supposed to get the bags after we were gathering our personal items from the front of the car. She took the stuff to the room but didn't inform us about room or resort features. We... More

The hotel was very nice and the casino was a lot of fun. It was great that they had such variety of table games and slots. The hotel was well appointed and quite. The made-to-order breakfast (included in the price of the room) was SO good. Loved the Keurig in the room too.

This place has everything. Hotel, casino, restaurants, bars, pool, hot tub, dog track. Property is very clean and well maintained. Beds are comfy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Stopped for one night and ended up staying for two. Will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

My king deluxe room was nice and clean. I like that the hotel is connected to the casino by way of a covered walkway. It's great if you want to take a break from all the action. The complimentary breakfast was good- from the made to order omelettes, to the pastries. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint... More

So we decided to try a new casino in WV as we always go to Charles Town. It was a long drive through winding mountains and was exhausted after rainstorms and 5 hours driving. Hotel check in very nice. No valet. Not high end hotel like some have mentioned in other reviews. Very average room with high ceilings. Had problems... More

We have stayed at the casino resort twice, can't wait to go again. The service is fantastic, the food is awesome and the complimentary breakfast is a delicious surprise for guest, a chef makes your omelet to order!! and they are awesome, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, I've paid a lot more and not had nearly as nice. The... More

My husband and I were traveling with his elderly parents and decided that they would like to have a casino night on our trip. I booked 2 rooms - 1 handicap accessible and one deluxe King. The staff and manager of this property were so accommodating and helpful. We arrived at noon, and the manager, Mark, allowed us to check... More

Feels like a high end Las Vegas hotel and that includes gaming, food, people etc. Only complaint is that if you get an end room you can occasionally hear the heating/cooling fans below you so we reuest a room that is not on the end of the hallway.

Always enjoy my visits to West Virginia's best Casino. It all starts as I approach the main hotel entrance and the Bellman greets you with statements of have a good evening and good luck. From there Concierge Judy G, who is an awesome host, always makes sure my visits are a true get away that is fun and relaxing with... More

I am a regular at the Mardi Gras Hotel and Casino. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the people. The Concierge Judy is top of the Line at the Hotel. She goes out of her way to take care of me. The front desk advisor Charlotta is nice, accommodating and friendly. I like genuine people and she is the real... More
