A very nice experience. A renovated 1922 farmhouse with a restaurant and tiny pub on the main floor and three rooms with their own bath upstairs. The owners were very accommodating with complimentary breakfast served at 8:30 am. An enjoyable experience and we would stay there again if traveling in the area.

This was our second visit to Locust Hill and it was just as nice as last summer's visit. Paula and Dave have a very comfortable inn and they couldn't be nicer. The dinner menu is terrific as is the beer selection from the pub. We booked the entire B&B for the weekend with 3 other couples and had the most... More

We stayed at the cabin at Locust Hills. The cabin itself is really nice. It's nothing fancy, but then again, that's what we were looking for. It was nice and quiet. The only thing I would suggest is to either put up longer curtains or a blind in the downstairs bedroom. The lights outside at night are very bright and... More

The hosts are incredible people! So hospitable and welcoming. We stayed at the Dam Cabin after biking from Anthony, WV. Homemade breakfast in the morning was a treat! Yummy selection of beer and wine, too! We made it for trivia night, which was a blast! All around great stay!

My wife stays here on business trips occasionally and many months ago and talkeds me into coming for the festival. Wonderful ambience, super friendly owners staff and whatever guests you meet. Trivia on Thursday night was great, food good, breakfast with homemade biscuits and some of the best SOS I've eaten. Not a Hugh breakfast choice, but this is a... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Locust Hill Inn's Cabin. The cabin accommodations are comfortable and more modern than other cabins along the Greenbrier River trail we have stayed in. We also enjoyed a meal at the property's restaurant that is just a short walk from the cabin. The hot tub which is on the deck of the cabin. I... More

Thank you for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Please read my response to the review you referred to, it explains a lot! However his negative review did speed up the replacement of the hot tub siding. Again, thank you for staying at Locust Hill More

Came to the mountains to cycle and escape the oppressive summer heat and found a delightful B&B as well. Optional shuttle service to Cass Railroad and to cycling locations on the Greenbrier Trail made this a perfect location for a quick vacation. “Almost Heaven” gave us the entire 3rd floor with plenty of room to sleep and relax and a... We stayed at the Locust Inn in the "Almost Heaven" room on the top floor and it was almost Heaven. I'd give them zero stars if I could! Maybe it used to be a good place to stay at one time. That certainly wasn't our experience. I traveled with my wife and our 10-month-old baby boy. First and foremost I want to address the flooding issue. Marlinton did not get flooded. The Greenbrier river did not crest in Marlinton and the burning house floating down the river that Jason B is referring to was in White Sulphur Springs an hour away and no where close to the roads he was traveling. Pocahontas county is working very... More
