We stayed 3 nights at Locust Hill Inn while bicycling the Greenbrier River Trail. Owners, Dave and Paula guided us on everything from access to bike trails to local restaurants. Our stay was wonderful, rooms are cozy, comfortable and clean. Daily breakfast was a feast, Dave is an amazing cook!!! Wish we would have stayed on the weekend to have his dinners. We also enjoyed morning coffee and evening brews from their own pub on the covered porch overlooking the mountains and wildlife. Hope to visit again!

The place is beautiful! Locust Hill is very inviting and the owners are awesome and very laid back. They have a small bar inside and patio bar in the back. Breakfast was awesome. I was too late for dinner. If you want to get off the grid do it here!

We recently stayed 3 nights at Locust Hill Inn. It is a gem nestled in the West Virginian town of Marlinton. It was so cute & comfortable! Owners were knowledgeable about local recreation activities and served delicious breakfasts, too. We also enjoyed a yummy dinner there on Thursday nite which was also Trivia nite-fun! We enjoyed biking the Greenbrier Trail, hiking and visiting Green Bank.

We were delighted with our stay at Locust Hill Inn! The property is beautiful! Paula and Dave were welcoming hosts providing heaping plates of deliciousness for breakfast every morning. The room was spotless and charming. Don't miss the pub for dinner on the weekends. Dave is a great cook and even bakes his own bread! Taking in the view of the the surrounding mountains, sunrise from the front of the house, sunset from the back, deer roaming the yard, the smell of fresh baked bread and I'm thinking West Virginia IS Almost Heaven!

Delicious high quality meals at a good price. Great atmosphere. Service is good with some fun moments to be had. Only minor issue was tea refills. Ordered Sweet tea and refills always unsweetened but no sugar at table to correct. very minor issue. Inn and service is excellent as well. If you are not used to an Inn in an older home, you do hear all the guests in semi tight room quarter environment. Most are very kind and polite however and once in room excellent wifi and TV/cable in West VA mountains which is hard to get. Breakfast in morning by hosts is bet I have experienced.

Room Tip: Ask for Stardust room. You only deal with one next door guest, though again all were polite.

Thank you for choosing to stay at Locust Hill. We would have been happy to bring sugar to you and sorry refill was unsweetened, we were unaware of that situation. Thanks again!
