We did the gravity zip line activity & it was awesome!!! Our guides- Clinton, J & Scott put everyone at ease & after the 1st two zips, we were all ready to go! They put a lot of emphasis on safety & following their lead and NOT doing what your head may tell you!! Tons of fun, opportunities for pictures & the guys were very willing to share info on the area for things to do & places to go. Highly recommend this activity!!

Totally enjoyed the rafting and the guides were great. However, the resort itself was not worth the money. 1. Cabin was basically a hotel room....plus bed was extremely uncomfortable and amenities were minimal. 2. For the price we pay for the rafting, the gear (which we had to rent) should have been given to us to use. 3. Picture/video prices are extremely overpriced. 4. Restaurant was horrible. Overpriced and we had to wait 1 hour 15 min for our food, which came out cold and one at a time. Needless to say, we only ate at the restaurant once during our 3 day stay. Absolutely do the rafting.....but stay somewhere else!

We absolutely love every minute of our time when we come to AOTG. The cabins are lovely, the food is delicious, staff is so kind, and you can not beat the beautiful views! Rafting is BEYOND incredible and we always recommend it to everyone we know. Best place for pure adventure. Can’t wait for our next trip in the spring!!!

If you are looking for a whitewater rafting company, look no further. Great staff and river guides. Not to mention great zipline activities, as well as other activities. We loved it so much our first time, we came back for the fall whitewater rafting!

We are repeat customers - in the past 4-5 years we have had very good experiences at AOG. This year we stayed from June 13-16th in a Kaymoor Suite, our lodging alone for 3 nights was over $700. On the evening of the 13th a storm came through and the resort power was knocked out for well over 24hrs. We understand completely that no one has control of the weather. We spent a lot of time unpacking coolers into fridge/freezer to have to turn around and repack everything back up a few hrs later. We first had to find & buy more ice - clean up all the water (melted from being built up in the freezer 2-3 times) from the fridge & floor of cabin. We paid for amenities that were included in the premium price of lodging & weren't available i.e. A/C, the pool, the restaurants....we were flexible with our excursions - no problem, I get it. I wrote to the manager Mr. Bice in June and heard absolutely nothing back. The reason for the 2 stars is I don't believe the customer should carry the entire burden of inconvenience & cost. You would think Management would be happy to make some kind of concessions?!?
