It's a slice of heaven this place! We fished hard and caught some 12, 14 and 15 pounders. The tents are very comfortable, clean with great showers. The food was wholesome and delicious. All the staff were generally very friendly and the guides very accommodating. We will definitely be back to slay some more monster fish!

Although this review is rather late I believe it is still relative. Just to be on the mighty Zambezi river is one thing but to stay on a private Island leaves you so relaxed you do not want to go back to city life. The camp itself offers excellent accommodation in luxury tents with on suite facilities situated right on... More

The staff were warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The accommodation is excellent, it's a beautiful camp and absolutely perfect for the environment it's in. As for the location - simply magical. We were picked up from the airport and returned, via the Victoria Falls, to the airport without any problem. I can't wait to go back.

Was lucky enough to do a 3rd trip to Sekoma in May 2016 and was very happy to find nothing had changed. From the time Peter picked us up at Livingstone airport to the time he dropped us off 5 days later we had a fantastic trip. The location, accommodation, food an especially the service from everyone is superb. The... More

What a great experience at Sekoma - we went there to fish but was blown away by the overall experience. Every meal was fantastic - especially the dinners, filled with stories of what we caught and what got away.

As an avid fishing family, my brother and I did and overland trip via Botswana to Kasane where we were transferred to Sekoma Island Lodge. The transfer went off very smoothly and we were immediately delighted by the setting at the lodge. In true Zambian fashion we were welcomed by the most accommodating staff and shown to our tented rooms,... More

We had an amazing time at the lodge. The service levels were beyond expectation. The fishing guides were professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. Their knowledge of the fishing methods and also the bird life was more than one could hope for. The rooms are well appointed and have fans which are essential. There is an excellent laundry service. The swimming... More

My family had a wonderful time here, the guides are great, we caught tigers which the children loved! A really soulful experience. Staff are so hospitable and can't do enough to make one feel comfortable. I will be back, God willing

I have just returned from my second trip to Sekoma Island and once again it was fantastic. It really is a great place to go to get away from it all and do some fishing in spectacular surroundings. We caught plenty of very nice Tigers, the staff are all just great and I am amazed at the food that they... More

We have just spent 5 nights here and found the service impeccable, great food around the camp fire at night and spotlessly clean tents. We had our own guide who looked after us and was ready to take us fishing any time we liked.
