This being our first time to WV, we were unsure what to expect. And to our delight we experienced a little bit of heaven. The views were beyond words and our cabin (#1) overlooked a valley, simply beautiful! Upon arrival we checked in with Donna (owner) and she was quick to get us started on our stay. We found out that the night prior they had a storm which lightening had struck and cause some electrical problems, only to be repaired quickly. Once we opened that cabin door, we were pleased to see our home for a week. Fresh clean towels, the kitchen was stocked with basic necessities such as toaster, coffee pot, electric can opener, plates, silverware, pots, pans, bowls etc. The only problem was with the storm our TV was affected by the lightning and didn’t work. No biggie to us as we were there to ride not watch tv. We did though tell Donna and they were willing to replace tv immediately but we told them no hurries. We loved too that the trail head to Rockhouse trails was right inside the campground. Another bonus was having Trail 12 BBQ on site also. It was nice to grab a bite to eat after a long day on the trails. And did I mention it was delicious!!! Quiet time was 11:00 and it was respectfully quiet. Everyone at the camp and on the trails were super friendly too. Soon it was our time to leave and before heading out we dropped off the keys and wanted to grab a couple shirts and info to pass along to friends. Met Wayne (owner) he apologized up and down about the tv and insisted that we take the shirts free of charge, after arguing back and forth we gave and graciously accepted only to turn around and give Wayne a few John Deere caps. This is a top notch place to stay, eat and enjoy the view. I would give it more stars if possible, you will not be disappointed and we look forward to many more visits to Twin Hollow!

I have found that anyone who complains about the owners probably didn't respect them or their property. The rules are there for a reason and I'm grateful they are so strict about the rules. The family couldn't be nicer and after 2 vacations there I've met them all (including the baby!). In fact, to dispute the review about the owners caring only about money; during our first trip to WV we only rented ATV's and stayed at Miller's because Twin Hollow was full (Miller's was also great, but we love the view at Twin Hollow better). Our last day we came back FILTHY and Mrs. Ellis gave us soap, towels and a shower before we left at no charge because our stuff was packed and we had no shower available to us. She didn't have to do that and we didn't ask her to.

The cabins are clean and require you to bring nothing by way of linens or cookware. The view simply cannot be beat. It's beautiful. I spent every morning quietly on the porch with my coffee and a book watching day break.

We've also done the sunset tour twice and the tri state tour once. Both were great and well worth the money. Brad is a lot of fun and knows the area extremely well. We actually prefer Brad's trails to the HM Trails. I think they found a way to continue the tri state ride so we're looking forward to doing that again this year.

The Trail 12 BBQ is good and convenient. We also enjoy going to Down the River while we're there and look forward to the opening of the new restaurant hopefully this year!

Machine rentals onsite too if you need one. ATV's also clean and well kept. We had one problem with the Talon last year, but Cam came right out and hooked us up with a Kawasaki so we could keep riding.

I couldn't find an honest bad thing to say about this place if I tried.

We're headed back in September and cannot wait to go! This year we're bringing our own side by side and we're hoping to be able to visit our favorite family and place in West Virginia multiple times a year now!

If you are looking for an incredible off-road experience look no further. The owners treat every guest like family, maintain an immaculate campground and beautifully maintained and clean cabins. The Hatfield McCoy trails are well maintained and provide a little bit of everything for everyone of all skill levels. Quite possibly the best part is the view from your mountain top campfire ring looking out into the valley below as the sun sets while enjoying food from the on-site restaurant.

Our group of 8 stayed 4 nights in cabin 10 and it was perfect. The cabin was big enough for all of us and we loved the porch for enjoying morning coffee and evening sunsets. It was so convenient to the trails and we loved Trail 12 BBQ. The mountain views were spectacular and the sunsets were gorgeous. We enjoyed the outdoor grill a couple of nights and the firepit was used for s'mores and roasted marshmallows . We can't say enough about the hospitality of the camp employees, even with all the Covid19 restrictions we still felt welcome. Highly reccomend.

The cabins were well stocked and beautiful and the guided trail ride was worth every penny. The leaves were spectacular! Not all rentals have windshields which are very nice on chilly or rainy days. Beautiful area and the locals were great too. We got to see the wild horses twice and a waterfall. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice campground with a very nice attentive staff. The campground is well kept. Bad things are low water pressure everywhere because they have to haul water up the mountain. The is only Wifi available at the office! Unlike every other campground in the area that has wifi available throughout the campground.

The view from the campground is amazing!! The campground is extremely clean and maintained and the owners and staff treat you like family. I can't say enough about them. We arrived on Friday and Saturday morning we had electrical problems with our camper. Wayne offered to come look at it and help figure it out. We had to cut our trip short as we ended up with a water leak inside the camper also. Donna offered to put us in a cabin for the remainder of our stay so we could finish our trip. They truly go above and beyond to make sure your trip is amazing and BBQ 12 is the best we've ever had!! We will definitely be planning another trip and won't stay anywhere other than Twin Hollow. Thank you Donna and Wayne for sharing your piece of heaven with us.

Booked a trip but had to cancel within 5 days of booking as we found out a member in our group just found out she was pregnant and it was going to be a high risk pregnancy. Spoke with a nice lady named Donna who advised us given the timeframe, we would receive a full refund. My girlfriend, who was emotional due to her sister now having a high risk pregnancy, was trying to get a confirmation of the cancellation and had the immense displeasure of dealing with Cameron. Cameron was extremely rude and even called her "Momma" thus confirming the fact that my girlfriend previously stated they had poor business practices.

I have attempted to email and call multiple times as well as post a message on social media asking for them to contact me but they have ignored and deleted all messages from me without replying.

There are plenty of places to stay and rent in WV so please do yourself a favor and find a better place to rent and stay then this place.

We stayed the last week of March. Coming from Florida, the views are unbelievable. This was our first trip to the Hatfield and McCoy Trails. Great place to to stay. The food at the on-site restaurant was so good! Cabin was clean. Fire pit was great. Close ride on the UTV to the town of Gilbert for food/supplies. The RockHouse trail ain't no joke. Unfortunately, my trailer bearings blew out. Fortunately, we made it to the campground. Wayne, the owner, went out of his way to ensure our trailer was repaired while we enjoyed our vacation. I can not recommend Twin Hollow Campground enough.

The campground is great. The owner is really nice. The restaurant on site has great food. The trail access and access to town are really nice. The owner is making good improvements to the access road to the campsite and is making great improvements to the property as well.
