Fayetteville is small and the Morris Harvey house has a nice location where you can walk to wherever you plan to go in town. Nothing is more than a few blocks away and the house itself is easy to find. Our room was clean and cozy, and even though we arrived after the traditional check-in time, we received clear instructions on how to get in and the location of our room. The owner was friendly and helpful, and made everything from breakfast to checking out convenient. Breakfast is buffet style and served at one time for all guests staying in the house.

We stayed in Rosie's suite. It is on the ground floor but we were not disturbed my noises from above. Entering was a bit strange since we were to enter through the back door and that meant we entered the room through the bathroom. The tub had high sides which made it a little scary to enter the tub even to take a shower because you had to step over the high side onto a wet surface. The bed was comfortable with a topper that made it both soft and firm. There was plenty of space in the drawers for our stuff, but not much for hanging things up. Very convenient to the New River where we went rafting and we appreciated that the owner made our reservations for us and got a better price. Breakfast consisted of eggs with ham in various forms and french toast each day. There was also a selection of breads one could choose from.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! What wonderful small town charm this place has—a real treat! It's truly the best location for anyone staying in Fayetteville. You're walking distance to the shops and restaurants specifically Pies and Pints and Secret Sandwich Society. Bernie, the wonderful gentleman who runs the inn will make you feel like you're straight out of an Andy Griffith episode. He's a real delight! We loved chatting with him. He knows quite a bit about the local history and thoroughly enjoys sharing it. Each morning Bernie had a delightful breakfast whipped up for us in the kitchen. The best part is the inn's wrap around porch. You'll find yourself sipping on coffee and eating breakfast while enjoying the rhythm of a rocking chair. The next time we're in Fayetteville, this is definitely where we'll be!

Located what I assume to be central of Fayettville, this is a good location to enjoy a walk to Pies and Pints and Secret Sandwich Society and has easy to access the highway if going to Adventures on the Gorge or elsewhere. I have to thank Bernie for doing a great job of making our stay a fantastic one including his delicious fresh hot breakfasts including cinnamon roll, pineapple french toast, and eggs with hot coffee and orange juice. We stayed in the loft which was perfectly air conditioned, had very comfortable beds, and a cool charm about the house. Bernie is friendly, warm, and good. Thank you.

We had a very nice stay. The owner was very friendly and engaging although our privacy was well respected. The room was very lovely with beautiful appointments and woodwork. We didn't stay for breakfast so I can't rate it. It's a great spot.
