Great reviews on TA brought us some way off our route to this super hotel. Finding it was a challenge as our Sat Nav / GPS didn't want to recognise Comfort ( unincorporated town). Even when we got to Comfort, it took a few tours of parking lots to find the way in, as we missed the sign! Cindy the...

Thank you for staying with us at the Oak Tree Inn. We pride ourselves in outstanding staff and service. While we are a little off the beaten path it’s always worth the drive to visit the Oak Tree Inn in Comfort! Thanks Cindy

We stayed here while the power was being restored at our home. It was very clean and comfortable. The rates were very cheap. The only staff member we spoke to was very short with us and not friendly. It's not a bad place to stay for a night or two.

Realized this location was off the beaten path, but interested in staying here anyway. Three hours out, I noticed in the AAA book, that this location did not have any stairs. I called to confirm if our room was upstairs/downstairs....was informed it was upstairs. I explained my husband had hurt his knee and would not be able to go upstairs,...

Ok the hotel is at least 20 minuets away from the highway. But if you have a cell phone of any sort it will not work after a mile away from the highway. You will get no signal. This is a fair warning to everyone who stays there. Other than that the staff is friendly and helpful. Driving to the...

Clean, comfortable well appointed room. Courteous staff and we were completely satisfied with our stay. Best rates by far, only about 20 minutes outside of Charleston or Madison. Nice back patio overlooking the river with rocking chairs. Very quiet rooms. View outside our window wasn't picturesque, but we came to rest after a day of traveling and of visiting relatives...

Staying here for short Labor Day getaway. Taking in the Casino in Charleston and volleyball torney. Love the staff here. But honestly the place sirs in the middle of a trailer park. Just paid $8.00 for two (very tasty) bologna sandwiches from the gas station. Overall not a bad stay. A romantic getaway it is not.

My husband and I checked in late afternoon and it was readily apparent as to why some travelers had difficulty locating the hotel. It's virtually hidden behind a gas station, with a small directional sign as you enter the gas station. Comfort WV is a very small backwater town - well, not even a town. That said, the hotel parking...

Small motel in rural West Virginia, south of Charleston features quiet rooms and, for me, a rude reception. I would have felt somehow better if I had done something really bad, that way the desk clerk's behavior would have made sense. It was Memorial Day weekend and all of the even average employees must have been long gone. The women...

This is a hidden gem in the beautiful mountains of WV! It is a little hard to find, but well worth the effort (just look for the Exxon station, it is behind that). The staff was super-friendly and efficient. I booked my room online just an hour before I got here and they had my room ready and waiting. This...

We are use to staying at Marriott or upper type Hotels but this will be the we stay at when we come to town! The room was spotless! I'm a germ freak, so I looked and the room smell great. The room was the perfect size, bed very cozy for a great sleep, no noise in all night or in...
