Stayed one night at the Bicentennial and it was very nice. It is a short walk to local shops and restaurants. We were there for an open house at WV Wesleyan College and the location was perfect. Breakfast is not included, but you do get a discount at the restaurant on site. The rooms are older, but they were very...

This hotel was convenient and within walking distance of WVWC. The on site restaurant was a plus. We had two beds that were pretty small ... expected queen size but they were doubles. I showered at night ... there was no hot water, but hubby had hot water in the morning. This hotel is charming. If you're looking for upscale,...

The Hotel is an older hotel but was very clean. We had a room on the 1st floor and went in the door near the back of the hotel. There was an odor in the hallway for our time there. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. We had a problem connecting to the wifi, as most...

Room was very clean and offered steps or elevator to second floor. Found our room to be nice and in quiet location. Close to town amenities and family. Has a nice restaurant that we have previously eaten our meals. Only complaint I have is that we placed a "Privacy" sign outside our door when we left; however maid still entered...

It's a nice place to stay. Friendly staff willing to bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasant as possible! Every room is equipped with a fridge and microwave. No problems with the wifi. There's a restaurant on site with very good food. (Try the Stinky Fries) Live entertainment on Friday nights. This is within walking distance of downtown...

My wife and I live approximately 30 miles away yet have always enjoyed dining at the 88 Restaurant. We love the atmosphere ! It isn't a noisy place, and is always low lighting and just an intimate dining experience. After a long day at work, this place can help to quietly unwind, you, while enjoying a nice meal with friends...

Staff was wonderful... They allowed for a late checkout which is rare these days, Very accommodating....rm was clean, food was very good.... The only problem was neighbors with exceptionally loud children. Overall a very nice visit. Would gladly stay again when visiting the area.

Love coming into the 88 restaurant both on the weekends and during the workweek. The servers are very friendly and welcoming, the daily dinner special is a combo of different flavors and comfort food, and the atmosphere is laid back. The meals are a little pricey compared to other similar restaurants in the area but this is seriously one of...

I am not usually a fan of buffets, but I love when I go to an event here that is catered with their buffet. I would highly recommend their Christmas event "Breakfast in Whoville" where you can have photos taken with The Grinch. The food is delicious, and The Grinch plays the part so well! The dinner event buffets have...

When we first arrived the room was dirty, but when we brought it to the attention of the cleaning lady she apologized and promptly cleaned it. That being said it just felt dark and dirty. The room had a mini fridge which was nice and it is within walking distance of some good restaurants and a Dairy Queen.
