My now fiance and I stayed at the Bluefield Inn for a few days just before Christmas of 2016. I can't rate this lovely place high enough. He proposed to me right there in the Martha Washington room, so this B&B holds a special place in my heart forever now. It was a beautiful house and the staff consisted of...

Our family enjoyed our stay here in the George Washington. Our breakfast was terrific, and the Mickey Mouse pancakes were a hit with the kids! Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, staff was kind and welcoming; and we appreciated the complimentary wi-if. Southern hospitality at its best, highly recommend!

Thanks so much for the wonderful review. We all loved having you here and am glad the Mickey Mouse pancakes were so enjoyable (especially since they were healthy!). Hope to see you again soon.

We stayed in the Abraham Lincoln bedroom - it was spacious and well furnished with plenty of room to spread out. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room is delightful; if it had been the summer instead of the winter, it would have been lovely to have it on the porch. We also enjoyed playing pool on the pool table.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Inn. I completely agree with you about the porch. During the warmer months we serve cocktails and breakfast outside and it is utterly delightful. We appreciate that you let people know to ask for the non pet rooms if they have allergies. Four rooms never have pets in them for that...

The home is absolutely beautiful. Kitt , Gary, and Preston were wonderful hosts. The parking in the back was a little tight, but adequate during our stay. Loved the Lincoln Room although the bed was a little soft for me. Kitt got up early on a Sunday morning to make us breakfast, because I had to leave early. She didn't...

Thank you for your wonderful review of the Bluefield Inn. It was a pleasure having you stay with us. I am glad that you mentioned the softness of the bed in Abe Lincoln. It is not considered to be one of our "soft" beds, but I have firmer mattresses in either Murphy Brown or Martha Washington. Both of those rooms...

Even though we arrived one day earlier than our reservation, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel very comfortable in the Lincoln room. Gary even hauled out the window a/c when we said we prefered fresh air! The bed was comfy, linens were soft and very clean and the room was spacious and the bathroom very comfortable. We had...

Bluefield Inn is as lovely a B&B as I've seen. Large and nicely furnished. The rooms are named after prominent Presidents and other historical figures but I've forgotten the name of of the room assigned to us. It contained two queen beds. Unfortunately, the mattresses on both were too soft and one tended to feel as if he were about...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Bluefield Inn. Your comments and insights are most appreciated and illustrate the challenges of running an Inn in a property that is on the National Historic Register. We try to provide all of the conveniences that travelers like and expect, while working with a beautiful 112 year old building. The room...

Best place to stay in Bluefield! Kitt & Gary are awesome, and Jack & the yorkie are adorable! Food is outstanding, rooms are gorgeous, and can't say enough about the excellent hospitality. I would go back just for a weekend getaway...maybe I will😄

This was my first B & B experience and it was wonderful! I am originally from W. Va. and went to visit family and decided to treat myself and stay here. Kitt is a wonderful hostess! When she found out we were arriving late, she made special arrangements for a late check in that worked out perfectly. The home was...

Thank you for your wonderful and detailed review! I think that one of the joys of owning a small Inn is that I can give guests more personalized attention than a chain and add little touches like pancakes! People who are not familiar with a B&B (like yourself) don't know what to expect and are worried that it will be...

We booked two rooms overnight at this charming bed and breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms well appointed and immaculate. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Kitt is the consummate hostess. I highly recommend this wonderful Inn!
