Highlawn Inn host, Sandy, provides a clean, comfortable, friendly bed and breakfast and a wealth of information about the Berkeley Springs area. Her breakfasts are delicious and beautifully presented. I have been a repeat visitor and always look forward to my stay. For those who might have allergies note that there are cats on the premises.

We truly enjoyed everything about this attractive Victorian home not far from the center of town. Sandy greeted us warmly, and made us feel right at home. We stayed at Aunt Pearl's in the Parlor Room. The gas log fire place, large Jacuzzi tub, bright sunlit room, and beautiful antique furnishings were charming. Sandy's delicious gourmet breakfasts, and Tim's delicious...

I had read other reviews and was a little disappointed in our experience. We stayed in a room with a king sized bed, but was actually two twins. The beds are very firm and not comfortable. The bathroom has a claw foot tube that is a shower combo, small, not big enough for two. The breakfast was good, not gourmet....

Wonderful B & B with large, comfortable rooms and a great front porch! The full breakfasts are super--all hand made and large enough to last you the whole day. Included with the entree you will find homemade breads and cakes, specially blended coffee and juice. Prices are great and service top notch. This is my second visit and will return.

We have stayed here several times & always look forward to our visit. We are made to feel like family by Sandy. Peaceful, relaxing and the food is superb. Have stayed in the cottage as well as main house. We prefer a king size bed so stayed in main house the last two times. Really enjoy dining in dining room...

My wife had a girls weekend away in Berkeley Springs, VA. They stayed at this quaint B&B, owner Sandy was just great. Breakfast was both beautiful and delicious. Everything was homemade. The package with Tara's Cafe and Atasia Spa is a deal you just can't pass up. She drove over nine hours to get there and plans on doing it...

I stayed in the Carriage house, which was spacious and nicely appointed. Guests should be aware that the wall between the between and bathroom is partially glass, so there's no privacy. The proprietor is very gracious, and the breakfast was satisfying, including very decadent coffee cake. There was cable TV and a VHS and DVD player with a selection of...

We had a lovely two night stay at the Highlawn Inn. We rented the smallest room and it was perfect for the two of us. The bathroom had a beautiful tub and the amenities were excellent. Our room overlooked the beautiful garden. The hosts Sandy and Laura were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast over the weekend was a buffet...

Came to the area to celebrate a friend's wedding. The staff could NOT have been any lovelier. They were so eager to make me feel at home, and willing to help out however they could. The owner lives on the third floor and comes down at breakfast to say hello to everyone and make sure everyone is having a good...

We had a very pleasant stay at Highlawn b&b. Very nice staff. The inn offers a breakfast buffet; while there are not many varieties of options, but food is high quality and delicious. I saw in one of the comments someone complained about the cats in the compound; we saw two cats that were very calm and never came upstairs...
