My room was clean, but very dated. The walls are pre-fab and thin. The bathroom lacks a real door and has a folding accordian partition instead, and it did not provide adequate pricacy in a sharing situation. The mattresses are new and very comfortable. But the covers were too sparse to keep me warm. No additional blankets were in the room. The heater uses a blower, and it was noisy all night, and it did not provide heating to the bathroom. Internet was low power and intermittent.
I give this 5 stars, not because it is a 5 star resort, but because you can't go wrong staying here. It is comfortable, clean, and perfectly located. Yes yhe furnishing are very dated. My room looked like an early 90's garage sale. They could easily improve the aesthetic of this room by painting over the ping sponge work that covers the ship lap. They have updated the bathroom somewhat recently. They have flat screen tvs, cable, and free wifi. My bed was very comfortable. This hotel has been there a looong time. I remeber it being there...well always. So it was built before microwaves and the mass electronics we use today. They have done a great job adding these features. There was a fridge and microwave and an adorable coffee station set up. I dont drink coffee so i cant comment beyond that. There is go kart track on the property and guests receive a reduced rate. You are a short drive to westport. The checkin process was simple and quick. If you are looking for a comfortable and very clean place to stay, you'll have a winner here.…
By boutique they must be referring to old and very dated. It totally reminded me of staying in a cabin at a KOA except it had a bathroom inside....the room was dark, smelly and small. Lots of the light bulbs didn't work. It could seriously use an update. There is potential there, it's just not being developed. I recommend finding another place to stay in town. Oh yeah, they say they have wifi......not enough to use successfully. EXTREMELY SLOW! Reminded me of the old dial up days!
We price shopped and our reservation was for an upstairs room. Manager changed nicely. Room small but clean and equipped. OUR room was off the highway so quiet. REFRIGERATOR, microwave, TV, WiFi fast and stable.
1. On October 3, 2017, it took the desk clerk about 10 minutes to locate my reservation. Then, she upped the room rate contrasted to the rate appearing on my printed confirmation (in hand); rather than haggle, I paid the increased rate. 2. The room was stuffy; no window could be opened for fresh air. 3. Although I paid for three nights, I left after the first night, never to return! Dr. Eldon Baker Sequim, WA
