I’ve seen some bad reviews for this place. I don’t understand. It’s not fancy, no, but it’s clean comfortable and well-priced for Westport. If you plan to stay in your room on vacation, ok stay somewhere else.

There’s a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. A fan in case it gets warm. Extra blanket if it gets cold. Chocolates!! Decent toiletries. Ample hot water. Bed is comfy. Clean towels. Room was quite spacious. My checkin was friendly enough.

I’ve stayed at worse places in Westport.

Absolutely loved the king jacuzzi room. Definitely worth the money. The room was clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was perfect for two to relax and watch a movie. The bed was comfortable. The view was good. It's close to beach access, restaurants, and shops. I will definitely stay in this room again

My room was clean, but very dated. The walls are pre-fab and thin. The bathroom lacks a real door and has a folding accordian partition instead, and it did not provide adequate pricacy in a sharing situation. The mattresses are new and very comfortable. But the covers were too sparse to keep me warm. No additional blankets were in the room. The heater uses a blower, and it was noisy all night, and it did not provide heating to the bathroom. Internet was low power and intermittent.

Absolutely terrible property; I can honestly say it’s one of the 2 or 3 worst hotel/motel stays I’ve ever had. The suite we stayed in was literally falling apart. Damaged blinds, broken heat, damage all over. And to top it off the ceiling caved in from a water leak, exposing dangerous non-code complaint wiring. Owners refused to provide any refund to accommodation. Avoid at all costs.

Such a great place, small, cozy, nicely decorated. Really good shower with good water pressure. Hubby says it has the best coffee he’s ever had in a hotel room and that is even with powdered cream. Very comfortable beds, kind staff, microwave popcorn 🍿 in the room (I’ve never had that anywhere).
Really enjoyed ourselves.

...then don't look here! What a DUMP! Motel 6 would be completely embarrassed to put their name on this place.

For starters, made a reservation through Breakers "Boutique" Hotel website, arrive and they have no record of any reservation despite me having printout of the reservation confirmation and they gave our room away which was supposed to sleep 6 (not easy to come by one of these on a holiday weekend with no reservation so we couldn't shop around to avoid this place).

They said they were going to put us in a more expensive room than our $140 room, what it was as they told us was a converted strip mall office building with tiny offices that they converted into rooms with a scary narrow walnut paneled interior hallway and separate locks on every door in the place. It looked like something out of a horror movie with dated dingy decor, it smelled, walnut paneling everywhere and filthy fluorescent office light fixtures from the 60s.

There was no common area with a couch for all of us to watch TV. There was a kitchen with very bright fluorescent lights and a tiny TV (19"?) far away from the table with uncomfortable chairs at a kitchen table so evidently this is where we were supposed to congregate to watch TV as a group but was horribly uncomfortable and could barely see TV due to glare off fluorescent lights which couldn't have only partially on, it was all or nothing and distance of tiny TV from table.

Then let's talk about the horror bathrooms. There was one VERY tiny room with only a shower, nothing else in that tiny room (weird!). Then next to it was the dingy men's bathroom from when it was an office building with a urinal, stall and sink just like it had in an office building. Exposed copper water lines and holes in walls due to someone's hack job with plumbing. I'm sure women would run screaming when they saw this.

The bed gave me a horrible backache, I'm sure it was vintage 1960s as well. I never get backaches from motel beds but this one was up to the challenge to give me one.

And did I mention the place smelled? We sprayed Febreeze but it was no match for the stench.

And they have the NERVE to call this a BOUTIQUE hotel???????????!!!!!!!!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We know we're getting back to you late, but we wanted you to know that your feedback is appreciated, and we've made many changes since you last stayed with us. Our website has been updated, and reservations are easier to make now. However, that's still no excuse for your reservation to have been lost, and we're sincerely sorry for the inconvenience that caused you. Although our inn is a bit older -- which means some of the bathrooms and rooms may seem smaller than more modern ones -- our guests have said that's part of its charm. Our staff does make sure maintenance and cleanliness are kept up-to-date daily, though. Like we said, we've recently made several renovations, including all new mattresses and covered decks for our guests to enjoy! We hope that you at least had a good time exploring the surrounding area; there are a lot of activities that our location makes convenient to participate in -- many festivals happen very close to us in the fall. If a second chance is possible, we'd love to show you how many improvements we've made since you last visited. All the best, Noel and Carol, Owners

By boutique they must be referring to old and very dated. It totally reminded me of staying in a cabin at a KOA except it had a bathroom inside....the room was dark, smelly and small. Lots of the light bulbs didn't work. It could seriously use an update. There is potential there, it's just not being developed. I recommend finding another place to stay in town. Oh yeah, they say they have wifi......not enough to use successfully. EXTREMELY SLOW! Reminded me of the old dial up days!

I wouldn't even give this place one star, unfortunately I have no choice. I travel all over Washington, Oregon and Idaho for my job, never once have I been turned away at a hotel.
It was my friends 30th birthday in Wesport on a Saturday night. I call the Breaker Inn at 7pm that night COMPLETELY SOBER and asked if i could get a room for that night instead of driving back 2 hours to my place since we were going out for drinks.
The lady working there asked me what time i would be coming around and I said after the bar closes. Asked how many people and at first I said one, then changed it to two. Didn't think it was a big deal.
I get a CALL BACK from her, saying that she changed her mind and I need to find some other place to stay.
When i asked why this is what she says, "We don't do business with someone who doesn't know whether there is 2 people staying or not and especially if you plan on 'shutting the bar down' because we have quiet time at 10pm."
Need I remind you that i was going OUT to a bar, miles away!
After that, i hung up and drove there in person.
After being there in person she changed her mind saying i could stay.
I shut the door in her face and drove to another hotel. Those people have no respect and lost business in a tiny town who could have used it.
I am sure some other people have different views on it, but I have NEVER been turned away because of a birthday party with a group of girls who wanted to celebrate.

We're very sorry for all the hassle, Yvonne. We would've loved to have you and your friends stay with us, but unfortunately it didn't work out this time. Making sure all of our guests are comfortable is important to us, and we take our quiet hours very seriously. We realize we're off the beaten path and do appreciate you considering our inn in the first place as somewhere you'd feel comfortable staying. We know we didn't get off on the right foot, but we'd love to have you stay with us for a relaxing weekend in Westport sometime. All the best, Noel and Carol, Owners

The upstairs wifi doesn't work in the room, no a/c, the room smelt like cleaning supplies horribly when we checked in. Minus that stuff it is a pretty nice place to stay. There is not many places to eat in Westport unless you like fish and chips.

We were traveling the coast and stopped in here. We had the tub in the room upstairs version.
We had a reduced rate if we didn't use the tub. It was nice and clean. There is a go cart track on the property. No noise, it rained and no one was racing.

Thank you for the review! We know we're responding a little late, but it's great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. Even though the weather can be unpredictable, the Go Kart Track is still a fun day activity to do. We hope you visit us again and have a chance to try it out. Is there anything else you think we could improve on so your next stay is even better? Warm regards, Noel and Carol, Owners
