Located in the heart of Twisp, WA, along the Twisp River, (just 8 miles south of Winthrop in the Methow Valley) we are a stroll away from live entertainment, quaint shops, and terrific restaurants. We offer top-notch, personalized hospitality in a sophisticated yet homey atmosphere. From a variety of meticulously-appointed rooming options, choose between our luxurious King or Queen Standard rooms(spa-style bathrooms, memory foam mattresses, fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, flat screen tvs) or one of our fully- equipped "A" suites(more like condos) complete with gourmet kitchens, living rooms, fireplaces, flat screen tvs, spa-style bathrooms with deep soaker tubs, memory foam mattresses, excellent WIFI and private screened porches with porch swings. Across from our main building, find Paws Awhile, our premier pet-friendly units with private side yards and all of the same over-the-top amenities as the main hotel. What a great find. Very personable staff; room was so nice with a great balcony with a gorgeous view of river ( great place to have AM coffee or evening glass of wine). Room spacious and clean. A nice breakfast was in fridge for our first AM.

This property has a great location and a special feel about it. Situated on a beautiful river with the trees and quiet surroundings. The Twisp river suites have a nicely decorated public area and beautiful rooms. We had two nice leather couches and a king size bed that made the place feel more like a luxury condo than a hotel room. Skip Winthrop at stay in Twisp!

The last leg of our Washington National Park vacation could have gone off the rails due to a forest fire shutting down the only highway through North Cascades. But the staff helped us develop alternative plans (a ferry to stehekin) and our stay couldn’t have been nicer.

My husband and I stayed at Twisp River Suites for 3 nights, whilst visiting the North Cascades. Joe, Donna and the team were all so friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel is lovely, in a fabulous location on the river. The homemade breakfast was delicious as were the G&T’s (thanks Donna!) It was a pleasure to spend 4th July in Twisp!

This is a wonderful spot to relax and recharge while exploring the Cascades. Don’t hesitate- everything is delightful- book a suite with porch swing patio above the river. Owner Joe provides everything you might want or need. Delicious breakfast!

One of the best hotel stays we have had The staff was amazing. The owner Joe was hands-on and became our friend during our stay. Homemade breakfast every day right on the river and the details in our room were over the top including little extras like reading, glasses and earplugs, eye masks, and super thoughtful extras. The feeling of home and high end luxury with One of the largest and softest beds ever! So much that was put into creating this home away from home with full kitchen and screened in porch, including a porch, swing and chairs to enjoy the riverfront thank you Joe for your hospitality and thoughtfulness. If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in Eastern Washington, away from the touristy area of Chelan this is it. The host is wonderful, stocking each room with small touches that make your stay perfect. From loacally roasted coffee to sleep masks, reading glasses, comfy robes and slippers to a generously portioned gourmet grab and go breakfast that consisted of quiche, scones, bread pudding and fresh fruit all waiting for you in the fridge. It’s obvious they care about those who stay with them. Our rooms was just as described with a beautify-appointed porch that overlooked the river. They are dog friendly which is plus if you are traveling with you four legged family member. I highly recommend and plan to visit again very soon.

My wife and I just spent a week at this wonderful place. The hospitality shown, cleanliness, and attention to detail were outstanding! While staying here we drove over to North Cascades National Park and Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest for some day hikes (15+ miles in 2 days). Coming back to the hot tub, massage chair, and that soft bed sure was amazing. Did I mention the river? Sitting out on our private screened in deck overlooking this beautiful river was the icing on the cake! We can’t wait to come back…

We were there for a reunion and not expecting to spend much time at the hotel, so we just got one of the simple rooms. It was small, but had everything we needed like a fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. There were some lovely common spaces you could sit that were right next to the river that were very beautiful and relaxing. A member of our party rented one of the suits to provide a place where the group could hang out if we wanted to give our hosts a break. It had a balcony over looking the river and was very roomy and nice. There was plenty of room for several of us to have lunch there. It would have been tempting to upgrade to a suite if we expected we were going to be at the hotel for more than just sleeping. The hostess was very kind and thoughtful. My husband left his computer at the hotel and she call me as soon as they found it as is sending it to us. I appreciate her taking the extra time and trouble to do this.…

This property is such a great place to stay. We are in an “A” suite which has everything you could possibly need. This is a one bedroom king suite with the possibility of a 2nd bedroom and another bathroom. In addition to a screened in deck overlooking the Twisp river, living room with tv, couches and (electric) wood stove, a full kitchen providing most amenities you need, king bedroom with TV and a double sink in en-suite bathroom, there’s a washer and dryer in the unit as well as other items you may have forgotten to pack such as flashlights, reading glasses, ear plugs, and eye masks. Breakfast is included - homemade items which are delicious. On-site amenities include hot tub, indoor and outdoor seating, fire pit, river access, and snacks, beverages, and other items available in lobby/lounge area. Joe is a great host and always fun to talk to. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It’s been a few years since we stayed here, and we’re happy to have made our way back here for 3 nights. …
