We loved our stay here. They house was very quaint and comfortable. The location is fantastic. What really set this house apart was the beautiful garden in back and the wraparound porch in front! I could stay there all day!
We stayed in the Inn the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was a lovely time of playing games with friends, exploring the area and shopping. The nearby town of Winthrop had their tree lighting and a big fireworks display on Saturday evening. The Inn was impeccably clean and the kitchen worked perfectly for cooking our meals. We only dined out once. The Inn is ideal for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of life.
Fabulous B&B. The owners are delightful and very accommodating; rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculate. The outside spaces are gorgeous - patio, porches, gardens (both vegetable and flower gardens). We have stayed in many B& B's and this is at the top. Because the owners were out of the area for part of our stay, we had the B and no B option. Not a problem. There are several great eating options in town less than a block away.
We rented the whole inn, which for the most part, is no longer run as a B & B. That was fine with us as we wanted to do all of our own cooking. The kitchen is outfitted with just about everything you could need for a gourmet meal, unless you needed some exotic spices. It is very spacious and comfortable. When we checked in, we found a gift basket with wine, granola and canned plums. What a treat ! The owners stopped by several times to see how we were doing. It is just a block away from the convenient heart of town and easy walking distance from the park. Parking was provided on site and there was plenty of dining space inside. It's quaint and we enjoyed our stay!
This was my first B & B experience and what a great first experience. Terry and Nola were amazing hosts, engaged in great conversation, and made two wonderful breakfasts. Their accommodation more than met our needs, were extremely clean, and provided a private experience while staying at a B & B. We will definitely return and enjoy our experience at the Methow Valley Inn again.
We just returned from staying 2 nights at this wonderful B&B My sister @ I had Room 7 as it had 2 beds, a queen & twin & it's own private bath & toilet - like our own suite. The Inn keepers were very welcoming answering all of our questions, being English we appreciated Peter's dry sense of humor. The garden is beautiful with many fruit trees, Rooms were spotless & there's a wonderful restaurant by the river within a 2-3 block walking distance. We understand as of Oct or Nov this is going to be a VRBO - this would be a great house for big groups - I can't wait to rent it. We've done a lot of B&Bs & this is one of the best!
I cannot express enough how the owners made you feel right at home. Breakfast was excellent everyday, fresh fruit from their orchard, quiche and homemade jam, local coffee and more. We were in room 8 which had a separate entrance and balcony overlooking their orchard and mountains. Very clean, short walk to the downtown.
My husband and I, self proclaimed, "not b and b people" had a significant crisis in identity after our first night in this delightful spot. Our room was lovely, the garden setting in a very small town off many beaten tracks was a wonderful way to start our annual week long vacation. Breakfast was terrific. What really made the difference though, was the hike that Peter, the Innkeeper, recommended for us. We described what we were looking for, and given the limitations of the recent large and devastating fire in the area, he sent us on just exactly the hike we wanted. Given that, and the freelance nature of the vacation we were starting, we decided to return later in the week for 3 more nights, and more just right hikes... We were thrilled to return, and can't wait to again. I can't imagine a more beautiful setting for celebrating the changing of the seasons and the fall colors. The dramatic representation of beautiful aspens, prepping themselves for their transition to bright gold almost is enough for me to propose an unplanned trip. We will see... With great dining options nearby, all walking distance, this is an unbelievably delightful find.…
We happened to travel to the US on the long weekend.. And were fortunate to find a one night stay at this amazing inn.. We wish it has been for two nights!! The room was beautiful.. The breakfast was out of this world.. Homemade.. Jams.. Fruit from their trees.. And the list goes on. We would definitely stay again!💕
I have stayed in this adorable inn twice now and both experiences have been wonderful! They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and have a great time in and around Twisp. I will certainly go back.
