Initially thought the road sign was out of date. This old Inn is on a little, dead end road. All other properties are homes. This NOT a hotel. It opened on July 4, 1904. Their mission is: "To use local services and fresh, local, organic products whenever possible to offer delicious home-made food at an affordable price; •To preserve and...

A charming, authentic road house off the main road! We were surrounded by local folks and welcomed as such. The specials looked awesome, but we went with the burgers and beer, which were excellent. You can catch a glimpse of Mt. Adams from the porch.

Sat outside. Weather was wonderful. Service was friendly and good came out quickly. Beer was cold. Enjoyed my chicken sandwich and boys enjoyed their burgers. Catfish was good as was the chicken special. Would come again. Didn't see any ghosts;)

We always make time to visit the Trout Lake Country Inn when we're near. One of the most authentic roadside inns that I've seen, it's got a comfy, down-home vibe with painted kitchen tables, and couches and easy chairs over near thelarge screen TV. One of my favorite places to sir is out on the long covered porch. You can...

Were greeted as if we were locals...very good food...not gourmet but good, home cooking and very reasonably priced. Great location, great ambiance. Would go back there again. Beer and wine served with good selections. Very charming exterior and you would not expect what was inside. Lots of locals were there on both evenings...specials during the week.

It's unusual to find fresh, local food out in the boonies, and there are plenty of reasons for that. Hard to get supplies, hard to find good help. But the Trout Lake Country Inn, 25 miles north of Hwy 14 in Trout Lake Washington, has all that going on, and more. Creative, delicious fare, including hand-formed hamburger patties from organic...

I have to say that our New Years getaway in which we stayed at the Trout Lake Country Inn was for lack of a better term.... EPIC! The owner was very clear on what we where to expect. It is not, I repeat NOT a bed and breakfast. However, the 5 rooms are quaint and clean and a place to...

Your room borders a noise ridden bar or is directly over it depending on which room you get, my bed was 3 feet from tables in the bar. Spiders, bugs and who knows what else gets through the small holes in the doors, windows and such (I SAW THEM). You cant lock you room when you leave as they don't...

“If you want to deal with less noise request a room on the second floor. Make sure to ask what days and times the kitchen is open and bring snacks and a way to heat them if necessary (i.e. a stovetop burner) as there are no microwaves in the rooms. Some do have coffee makers though. Prepare yourself to just relax and have a great laid back time...”
