Karen was a great hostess at this lovely B&B. Had an amazing breakfast and she was very flexible about my need to shorten my stay last minute. Beautiful, historic neighborhood, very close to the waterfront, downtown, and University of Puget Sound. I was here visiting my daughter at Puget Sound and Karen has a room with two double beds, which...

We were looking for an interesting place to stay that would not be far from our nephew and his family in Tacoma. This B & B was a great choice. The common areas are spacious and every room has its own bath. We took the smallest room, the Hope Elizabeth, which was adequate for our needs, with a very comfortable...

The hosts were friendly and the room was clean and quiet. This was a nice find close to downtown Tacoma. The hosts also had a good recommendation for dinner. Breakfast was good too. We would stay here again.

We were a little discouraged while searching hotels in Tacoma: rooms were expensive and many properties seemed to be overhanging the freeway or located in questionable neighborhoods. Then we found Plum Duff house, in a beautiful historic neighborhood and competitive price-wise with the hotels, especially considering the delicious home-cooked breakfast included. Hosts Peter and Robin are warm and helpful. We...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Plum Duff and it was one of the best B&B's we have stayed in. Our room was comfortable and the bed large and comfortable. We know Tacoma and the location was ideal for our visit with friends. Peter and Robin were very accommodating and the breakfast both days was amazing. The area...

Talk about your coincidences! We're from a northern suburb of Baltimore, MD. As I was making our reservation, I learned that the owners of the B & B, Peter and Robin, used to live within five miles of us here in Maryland! Seems kind of funny to go entirely across the US, only to have our hosts as previous neighbors....

My husband and I stayed 6 days last year and 7 days this year. Every breakfast was fabulous; served on a different china every day and beginning with a bowl of freshly cut fruit, the delicious hot meal was well worth the 8:00 serving hour. The gardens were beautiful. Hosts Robin and Peter were helpful and thoughtful, as well as...

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely B and B immensely. Located in the beautiful, historical area of Tacoma, it is convenient to many charming restaurants and an easy drive to all sight seeing destinations. Peter and Robin were gracious hosts, our room was large and cozy at the same time - fireplace and a canopy bed! The whole house...

This was my first bed & breakfast experience. What a CUTE and cozy home. Peter and Robin are the most charming hosts. I had never been to Tacoma, and Peter printed me off a map. The room was cozy, comfortable and had everything I needed, including a very cool old clawfoot bathtub. The garden was in bloom, and was breathtakingly...

Great location, but no charm or flexibility. If you want a picture of Pearl Harbor being bombed in your bedroom, you might like the decor. Breakfast was at 8 AM, on a Saturday morning, with no flexibility. The portions were of average size but no seconds or extras to fill up on if it's not enough. I chose to skip...
