Beds were uncomfortable, there were no information from the front desk or in the rooms about any available amenities or what wasn't available. The casino was more greedy than generous. Dinning options were limited.

The casino has gone to great lengths to make sure its patrons are safe during the pandemic. Upon entering your ID is scanned for tracing and notification purposes. Smoking has been banned (they have set up designated smoking areas in the parking garage) so that everyone can enjoy their visit. Although I am a former smoker and not particularly bothered by smoke, it was especially nice not to have to contend with it and come home smelling like an ashtray. I wish they would continue to ban smoking if and when the pandemic ends. Every machine has a sign covering the money slot stating it has been cleaned since it was last used. Chairs have been removed to keep people from sitting next to each other. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and I will certainly go back as I felt safe and was very comfortable being there.

A surprise visit to a beautiful place, Agate Pass on the way to Bainbridge Island in the Salish Sea. Great beds, soft and cozy. Super breakfast and crab cake dinner in the dining room. Under cover parking, just what the anniversary needed. A wonderful casino, even departed the penny machines with a profit. A ferry ride from Seattle or Edmonds, perfect and relaxing.

I am absolutely flabbergasted by my unfavorable stay in this hotel, the mediocre customer support, and the call that I just received from the "Sales manager, Lisa?" During my stay, I paid for an upgraded suite for my husband's birthday for one evening but was I was unable to enjoy it because of the (1) dirty amenities, (2) a loud party at 3 a.m., and (3) front desk and sales staff. To elaborate: (1) While residing in the suite, I tried to surprise my husband with a drawn bubble bath, chocolate, and roses. Unfortunately, when I ran the bathwater, black goo pealed off of the tub's spouts and jets and into the water. Upon seeing the residue swimming inside of the bathtub, I drained the tub and called housekeeping and it two 2-people (a man and woman) an entire hour to clean this filthy tub. Unfortunately, we had to skip my husband's special bubble bath because we were only in town for 1-night for a retreat and his time away from this group had expired in the time that it took them to clean the tub. (2) After dinner and dancing, we retreated to our suite to sleep. Unfortunately, excessively loud music and laughing woke us up around 3:00 a.m. We had to call the front desk several times to have the issue resolved. (3) The morning of our checkout, I woke up early to have breakfast with my husband but realized I wasn't feeling well so I called the front desk staff and asked Cameron for a wake up call at 10:30 a.m., an 1/2 an hour before our 11 a.m. check-out and he rudely ignored my question and reminded me that I had to leave by 11 a.m. and I had to make my request a 2nd time before he agreed to provide me with a wake-up call. Fast forward to after my 10:30 wake-up call, I realize that I'm still sick and tired (because of late night party next door??) so I call the front desk and I asked for an extended late checkout and the woman who answered the phone asked her supervisor to extend my checkout until 11:30. At 11:13, a woman called the room to remind me of the 11 a.m. checkout and I informed her that I was given an extension. 2 minutes later, Cameron (a man) called my room to aggressively question who approved my extension because it wasn't him. I felted offended and felt attacked so after I checked out, I spoke to the hotel Supervisor about it and he immediately apologized and told me that his staff was wrong and he had witnessed the attack for himself and had already spoke to Cameron about his behavior. (4) THIS IS THE WORST OF IT ALL... When things go wrong, as they sometimes do with support staff, you are usually greeted by a manager eager to make things right-- even if only to figure out the teachable moments and extend their compassion for the customer... Well, that is the polar opposite of what I experienced with the unnecessarily rude, crude and tasteless Lisa (Sales Manager). Within seconds of calling my phone, 2-days I asked for the Hotel Manager to call me to address my concerns, Lisa called and falsely accused me of ruining the room comforter with rose petals. She literally said, "Hi, this is Lisa from Clear Water Resort. I understand that you were upset about the dirty tub, the loud party, and how you were spoken to by our staff but I'm upset that you ruined the comforter." I was so utterly offended that she skimmed bypassed the trifling quality of the dirty amenities in my room, my suite stay being interrupted in the middle of the night and me being verbally attacked by her male staff but fast-forwarded to falsely accusing me of running a comforter. I've stayed in nice hotels all across the world and have frequently paid for the rose petal service for romantic nights and I have never been accused of ruining a comforter at any of those high-quality hotels. I didn't even sit on or have sex on this bed, as I had in the past-- we only laid under the covers. Furthermore, it would have been nice if Lisa for a moment just assumed innocence and asked me how I left the state of the room? I mean, she has no proof that I ruined that comforter. Just like I never saw anything wrong with the comforter and I have no proof that her angry housecleaning staff (who probably got into trouble about that dirty tub) didn't purposely ruin the comforter or the accidentally washed the rose petals with the comforter?? To make matters WORST, Lisa had the audacity to tell me that I could keep the comforter as I gift for my bad customer service experience before she threaten to call my husband's leadership program to tell them about the rose fiasco if I wrote a bad review based on terrible experience at this hotel. I CANNOT BELIEVE THE SALES MANAGER AT THIS HOTEL JUST THREATEN ME!!! Now, it makes total sense that the rooms aren't properly cleaned, guests aren't adequately monitored during the evening, and male desk staff feel empowered to call women and yell at them... THIS HOTEL IS A FARCE! When I asked Lisa to talk to her manager about my experience, she snidely gave me Jeff Klein's information and insinuated that he would';t do anything about her poor choices as a manager because she "knows him very well" because she's worked at this hotel for many years.... I would NEVER stay at this hotel ever again, as they have a flawed system of checks and balance and have a horrible sense of customer service!

Beautiful room in the original hotel. The double-queen was comfortable and the beds soft. Slept great. I'm sensitive to smoke and the non-smoking room was pleasant with no odors. The lobby was filled with over-stuffed chairs and a fireplace. It overlooked a grassy lawn and had a lovely view.
